Thank you so much showing how you use stitching to obtain texture in your backgrounds. I loved seeing the different sizes of the stitching. I was raised on traditional embroidery and it has been hard to step out of those hardened traditional embroidery rules. I have stopped ripping out stitching that was not all even. It is so freeing. I am having so much fun breaking all the traditional rules I was taught. I love the look of my textured backgrounds and it thanks to your discussions on the way you approach stitching. Thank you for sharing your ideas with us.
Thank you! That’s great to hear! I think your knowledge of traditional embroidery can/will help you decide where to bend the rules and break free from the “have-to’s” and spark a new love for stitching your own way😊🧵🪡
