1 inch of drop per foot is like a 5 degree angle right? Maybe 5.5 or 5.75 degree angle? My phone has an app for angles and I'm about to order a sluice with a flair Thanks for your time I'm looking forward to it. From northern Alberta Canada 😶🌫️
Just used mine with the mini classifiers set up at a home table and water recirculation system and then a traditional mesh sluece at the end and it wotks great!
my 50" sluice box came in the mail missing a wingnut and miner moss is too short. material flows straight down the sides. i had to go buy myself a wingnut, and now im waiting on more miners moss so i can cut my own to fit properly.

I've had a sluice fox for several years. I found that the first thing I had to do was trim the tabs on the riffles to make them easier to remove. I also added some V matting to the flare and under the miners moss. Colorado gold is pretty small.
Hello just got mine in, really wish I had 2 or 3 sections apparently lol Love the product but the price is steep for me. Thank you for the awesome video as well! I feel much more confident going up next time with it but I'll need a classifier first

That Montana Gold If your gold bearing material has lots of rocks and larger sized materials, it would be a good idea to classify some of that down before running it through the sluice to help the process along and find gold quicker. Good luck and may your pans be heavy!
