My highly requested shower routine! I switch products all the time depending on what scent i prefer! this one leaves you very juicy / vanilla / cocnutty! I like to do a double cleanse shower so i can really feel clean!
You don't need to moisturise this much or cleanse this much either! Use exfoliating gloves and a rich moisturizing shower gel and use any body oil to lock in moisture and if needed sunscreen and a butter on dry areas. This is overkill and once again puts undue pressure on ladies.
@@jesusmywholehaschanged might not be good for you but she found something that works for her, not everyone’s body works and functions the same nor does everyone go through the same day to day activities
@@AdrictoTDT-Twitch you’re only supposed to do this kinda stuff once a week max. I do this kind of shower once a week and the rest of my showers that week are normal
@All About Brianna you don't need to exfoliate once a week only...dead skin builds up each day..and should be exfoliated at least 3 times a week..this why so may people think they have " dry skin" but it just turns out to be a buildup of dead skin that they keep slapping moisturizers on smh
Elbows can crack if she has a desk job where she puts her elbows on tables....also everyone has different skin. Just because this won't work for you doesn't mean it won't work for her
That’s why you first cleanse with an antibacterial soap then cleanse again with a moisturizing body wash to bring BACK the moisture that was lost. So your clean and moisturized
yeah this is a double scrub not a double cleanse lol. all you need is to scrub once and use a flanel to cleanse after. don't rip you skin, it's like an elastic ballon lol
It's overkill just to make a video. People buy into the name brands when they can make a lot of this stuff by going to the health food store or trader. Joe's. It's 2023 and they are just finding out decided to make a video on it.😅
Hi all Dollar Tree sells exfoliating cloths and gloves. . They work extremely well. Continue to use whatever products you've been using that work for your skin. Rinse off, then do it again. What scents and products work on her, may not work on you, or you may hate it. I've gone scentless with all my products after using everything up that I already had. Then I grease up with Vaseline. Then I apply actual perfume. I smell amazing all day.
@@salmonella123 right lmao? and you don't even exfoliate every day. i do my first wash while my conditioner sits, and then i do my second wash. takes about 20 minutes most days...
My skin is super soft and shiny and I do this type of routine, wdym? Also you’re only supposed to use the body polish/scrub every 1-4 times a week, not every day. I have strong skin and I’m assuming she does too so it doesn’t harm skin.
exactly that's what I do. scrub antibacterial soap with the exfoliating gloves and then lather a body wash with a wash cloth. but it's each to their own.
I use African black soap for daily showers and occasionally will use a cocoa butter exfoliant. After I get out of the shower, I use lotion and put Vaseline on those ashy ass elbows. Seems to work just fine. Not only that, my skin is happy and I'm in my 70s. Vaseline and/or Aquaphor are the way to go! Your budget will love you for it.
@@dirys24 I love you! I'm blessed with good genes. I have very little gray hair and refuse to dye what little I have. Full disclosure, that picture was taken when I was 69 years old. For what it's worth, the females in my family are close to centenarians before passing, with only my grandmother passing at the young age of 95. Everybody else, 99-ish.
@@vegasrenie wow what good genes …I recently heard from my mom that my generation will pass away at 50 because we have been eating burgers all the time 😭😭
Damn I was feeling so insecure after watching this video, but definitely feel better after seeing your comment and the comment section in general 😊😊😊 coz I was like, who has time for all this?? Plus I’m not fan of using so many mixes of scented products! As a matter of fact, like u, I use body mists and not those fancy expensive perfumes because they give me migraines (too concentrated).
@@Celestials1aurora Girl, I know your boyfriend be rushing you when you getting dress 😂 I only use a body oil when I get out the shower and deodorant. I have psoriasis so I can’t use too many different things smh it SUCKS!
If you actually do this all together without just standing there or rubbing stuff in for a long time this could take only 5-30 minutes (and people don’t use scrub every day)
I love that everyone is getting hip to the the Ghanaian sapo..the net sponge lol been using it all my life. I’ve always had smooth skin on my body because of it. Exfoliation at its finest. Make sure to support and buy from people actually culturally connected to it though.
@@ilianastenovitch i guess it depends on the person, I don’t have acne at all, my friend has acne triggered by chocolate, a generalized statement doesn’t help much
These comments explains why some of y’all are aging like a cut avocado and smell like clothes left too long in a washing machine. This routine takes 30 minutes tops! It’s ok to pamper yourself! ❤
If I was to do it I would use the fragrance free wash for sensitive skin, then a fragrance free cream wash, (or an in lotion shower ), aloe Vera gel, fragrance free lotion, perfumes (layered), and then an oil. I can’t do too many scents cause of dry skin and eczema .
i have extremely dry skin and eczema too! i do a normal lotion on bottom and fun scents on top. my skin is doing so much better double moisturizing with a scented product than a single layer of unscented moisture.
Careful to research the ingredients in your skincare ladies, so many of them disrupt hormones please please less is more and check those ingredients. Former licensed esthetician and general big sister 💕
Right. Eat healthy, cleanse regularly, and use a good smelling lotion. Bam. You’ll be complimented on your scent all the time without the all the chemicals and waste
omg This Is doing entirely way too much props to y’all who has the time to be this extra. Spending so much time and money for the exact same results for less is crazy.
I recommend you to watch the documentary „stinky” and as well something about plastik pollution. Very sobering. I used to use a lot of smelly cosmetics believing that they do me good. Well they didn’t. What I use now is lush body scrub bar - zero packaging, Aleppo soap to wash - as well zero packaging. And do my own sugar and coffee scrub. If I want to smell good I have a bath with natural essential oils. These cosmetics will make my psoriasis galloping, my newborn scream - a lot of those have really harsh chemicals which as woman you can pass to a newborn with milk and your blood while in a womb. Another thing those chemicals like to accumulate in the body and in long run cause cancer. One of the most cancerogenic substances are found in synthetic perfumes add to those type of products, to make them smell good and in long run cause women health problems and death.
This comment should be pinned. All the other teenagers speaking for her in this comment section doesn't know they are causing more harm to their body .
The Dove body scrubs in the UK use kiwi fruit seeds as microbeads are banned in this country. I would have a look online or in the store to see what is in the US version.
Although I don’t exfoliate everyday (wouldn’t recommend as you could damage your skin) I love the double cleansing method for the skin, you literally smell fresh all day- thanks 💜
I'm not gonna lie, I used to do this because it FEELS good but tbh, that's a lot of chemicals going into your system via the largest organ, the skin. I keep it simple now.
PLEASE understand that Dr Bronner's needs to be diluted you guys!!!! YT University is cool sometimes but if ppl don't know what they're talking about its gonna hurt you more than it will help you!!!
@@iamkimberlyvaughn No, not the bar soap. The liquid castile soap is basically a concentrate...so if you use it straight from the bottle your basically stripping your skin. Just go to their website or even their YT chanel to get better informed.
Some people have extremely sensitive skin and some don’t. If you know your body can’t handle this, then don’t do it. Everyone is different. These comments are so low vibrational. If you don’t wanna do it, don’t.
The comment section is giving “I’m too broke to afford this, so i’m just gonna hate on her” energy. What are people mad about? Why does someone washing their body have you so pressed? Do what works best for you. DAMN..
I do the same i shower, scrub then moisture. However, I believe the difference is in the NUMBER of product. I used one body wash, 1 scrub (once per week) and moisturizer with 1 product or sometimes cream mixed in the same tub w oil to save time. I think its alot more efficient for those who work a 9-5. All these products could strip the skin of its natural benefits too! However, I am a firm believer that every skin is so unique so find your own routines.
I use it in on mine for years this is not true. Everyone's body is different. Yes the peppermint or lavenders may sting/burn some people .. not me. They have an unscented baby one.
Woah so much negativity in these comments. Mostly from non professionals at that! I absolutely believe in double cleansing. I wasn't always this way, but over the last couple months I've tried it, I personally love the results! Everyone is different & everyone should do as they please when it comes to their own body. Not sure why everyone has to be so negative in the comments😑 I enjoyed the video hon, thanks😊
guys, shes clearly happy and content w her shower routine. her skin looks healthy and she seems to have plenty of time to take elaborate showers. its probably her self-care time and honestly i wanna be able to take the time out for myself like her one day. its not necessarily a bad thing to have an extravagant routine and take the time out for yourself.
Please pin! Y’all need to stop judging this clearly works for her and this is an everything shower not an everyday one. Stop acting like you are a professional and know everything abt everyone’s skin! U have no place to judge ppl for what they do in the shower this hygiene community only wants to help. Please think twice before leaving a rude comment bc hate and judging ppl is just STUPID. Again, pls pin and have a great day! 💗
Usually scented products dry the heck out of my skin. I try to stay away from strong smells...I am not sure how long your natural skin barrier could last with all these applications, but everbody is build different. Good for her! People, PLEASE remember what works for someone may not work for you. So do your research based on your needs!
The second body wash you used only got foamy because you used it as a second cleanse, and when you wash for the second time, soap suds up more because you’re already clean
its funny how its so many negative comments. Talking about how its too much time/product/money or whatever. But I never see these comments on a makeup video where the person layers on a bunch of product on her face or those ridiculous muppet eyelashes
😳 I literally don’t have the time for this, but it’s impressive. My routine - 4:30 wake-up, gym, shower (gel, oil after shower, scrub once a week on a weekend), breakfast, 30 minute “me” time, and out the door by 7. No energy for anything else. 🤷🏻♀️
I lov you please tell me that do I have to shower everyday it's very cold And I sweat so much please some tips because I can't afford or get any new products because I have strict parents and I live in Pakistan so nothing is available like American things
i have a few tips because i used to have the same problem as u but if u aren’t able to shower everyday u should get some baby wipes carry them around with u to they really help if u start to smell musty and maybe switch up what u eat yk spicy food onion garlic can cause body odor to
Honestly these product are expensive especially for the average student. Try getting sweet almond oil and shea butter with lotion and using it after the shower it will keep you moisturized throughout the day. ✨
I definitely think this is overboard!! The human body doesn’t need a ton of scents, there would have to be an underlying problem that should be brought to a Dr’s attention first. Also, I’m pretty sure a dermatologist with disagree with using this many products as well.
Why are all of these comments so critical? It was great to learn about all of the products. What she does may not work for you. Understood. Yet the product information was excellent.😊
My skin would be greasy if I used all this on my skin. I use shower cream , a mineral salt scrub with coconut oil and my all time favourite moisturiser is Palmers coconut hydrate cream. I'm obsessed with everything coconut all my shampoo , conditioner and body products are coconut 🥥 ❤
Thanks for the info about the African Bath Net!!! I use Spongellé sponges and have for years but I’m always down to use new stuff! Thanks again girl! 🫶🏼
For those of you saying the two forms of Exfoliating is unnecessary..You need to exfoliate..at least 3 times a week..also sometimes a decent amount of dead skin is left over after the exfoliating glove/net sponge etc..so thats why she uses the fine/moisturizing exfoliating rub..its just like when you gonto a rejuvenating spa..This is why so many people walk around talking about they are "ashy" or have "dry skin"..but it's just a buildup of dead skin they refuse to exfoliate and seal with an oil. Exfoliating also helps build up your skins natural moisture barrier and collagen production. I bet when yall get moist you get the 'rollies' of dead skin/dirt smh.
some of y’all have never been to a dermatologist a day in your life, and it shows! exfoliating your entire body 3 times a week?? THAT’S why you’re dry! not a natural oil left on your body
Some of these things like exfoliating, should only be done 1-4 times a week. You also don't need this much cleanser, just one type and maybe every 2-3 days.
I am so surprised... is this common practice? I don't Scrub and polish at any one time. Also is it common to use so many products at moisturize? I'm wondering if I need to change my routine...
I think this is something you would do once every three months or once every year kind of thing. All you really need to do daily (or once every 2-3 days) is to use a body wash that’s good for your skin, and a moisturizer or body oil (that’s also good for your skin) after showering (or you can use the in shower ones). To smell good, just clean certain body parts really good, like the feet, armpits, down there, etc. and if you’d like, add on a few pumps of your favorite scented perfume on your clothes or a little less on your skin.
Body scrubs can be used 2-3 times a week. My skin is dry so I can’t do that 😅 I do it once a week, or once every 2 weeks depending on how lazy I get jaja
No this isn't common. It's also not recommended. You don't need to cleanse that much or put that much moisturizer on. If you do your skin stops producing its own moisture. Just let your body do its thing
@@dustin628 so don’t shower? Also it’s WINTER ITS 4-40 Degrees Fahrenheit! You need lotion in winter or you’ll be dry and cracked during spring and summer when you wear swimsuits and go in public more!
And her liver- not to mention these chemicals and fragrances are endocrine disrupters which will mess up hormones and contribute to poor health problems.
