Really nice! Reminds me of being the desert of Arizona. I would watch the quail at dark get their water and head for their roosting tree. I would come back later in the night with a dimmed headlamp and reach up and cup my hand over them one by one. I subbed!
By being relatively easy to catch the grouse ( or spruce hen ) have saved many people throughout history from starving to death. They should be respected and protected.
