Could you help with fixing the mic of OnePlus 6 earphones... The earphones audio are clear and the mic is not working... Some kind of greesy oil comes out of the wire ends connected to the mic portion. Need guidance in proper soldering of the correct wires for OnePlus 6 earphones..

Hello sir, I have a JBL earphones wired one. Following ur video i started trimming off the outer coat wire.. I got hair like white thing first covering all the wires inside of it. I assuming thats just for extra protective thing. Then i got a free blue line wire ; a green wire ; a gold stiff wire and another gold wire which has a another red wire hidden in it... i assuming this red wire is the mic since u said mic usually hidden in the gold wire. And i joined stiff gold wire and other gold wire (from which i seperated the red wire) Now the wires are like this- Having a blue , a green , a gold and red wires. So i assuming gold wire is ground and red wire is for mic (since this wire was hidden inside the golden wire) Like i mentioned before i first noticed a hair like white thing covering all the wires. Is this a connective wire or just protective thing?..it didn't have any stiff single white wire. I just want to make sure which is mic and which is for ground. Pls do reply sir.
