I used the funniest Dragonite solo raid counter... I used: Flutter Mane Air Balloon Stellar Tera Type Calm Mind Moonblast Stored Power If the Thunder or Hurricane doesn't target Flutter Mane - It doesn't matter if Dragonite has +6 Atk and Spd, it won't be able to attack Flutter Mane at all. And you can do a lot of damage to Dragonite with +6 Sp. Atk and Sp. Def
I'd say the build works a lot better if replacing Roost with Taunt to assure Dragonite can't get set up early with Dragon Dance. Taunt first turn, Screech 2nd then 3 Body Presses, 3 Iron Defences and Tera + Body Press for the rest. Had no luck with the Roost set but Taunt allowed me to catch it with half the time left. Only thing to watch out for is Dragonite becomes likely to use Thunder on Turn 2 or 3, so reset if it paralyzes you.
Swap out Screech for Taunt, use taunt on turn 1, then 3x Body Press, then Taunt again, then 3 Iron Defense (squeeze in a roost if you get very low) then Tera and Press. It wont be able to get off a second Dragon Dance until after youre tera pressing.
For clarification, Mirror Armor only deflects any stat-lowering effects targeting Corviknight and doesn't hinder Dragonite's Special moves, so any Ability on Corviknight will do fine.
Orthworm Ability earth eater Max def max hp 3 mudslap to charge Tera Body press till it clears your stats 3 iron defense Body press till dead This raid is stupid easy
Either way SV will be a dud in pokemon in the future especially when the last dlc was a mystery gift and when you collect legends guess what no mewtwo or mew or a couple other legends so sword and sheld and ultra still hold the best when it comes to getting all legends and starters
I brought my shiny Corviknight over from SWSH and it had boosted attack and defense. I had all of the exact same moves except Roost. I used Taunt instead.
In solo maybe it's tricky, but with just one friend that uses a Malamar with Contrary, Skill Swap, Reflect, Swagger and Flamethrower (just to have something to use when the shield is up), using Koraidon with Sucker Punch, Sword Dance and Collision Course (Sunny Day can be a nice extra) makes the raid extra-easy. Almost as the Dondozo one, I have to say.
That was tough. I ended up using this, but adding in the defense cheer at key times, like when you're about to pop the shield. Thanks so much for the build!!
IF you have orthworm with iron defense body press mud slap protect she'll bell it would work too me and my friend did it together and we beat him twice now I have two for my friend Help 2 orthworm beat him was a challenge it took couple of times on first after it was easy🎉
Mirror Armor only bounces stat lowering affects, of which Dragonite does none. Archaludon uses the same strat, and even without access to Roost is more reliable because of Breaking Swipe and Stamina. Also after damage calcs is a far more effective Body Press user because of base defense stat 😅
My Corviknight was originally "Great stats!" but even after hyper training for defense and hp and using protein I still can’t do it. Does it really need to be an "Amazing stats!" Corviknight? What am I doing wrong?
This is helpful but a really inconsistent solo strategy. Had to do this raid 10 times to squeak out a win and took an npc drifblim burning it at the start of the fight. Plus one crit once the burn was gone could've had me starting from scratch.
Corviknight does not work for solo I tried over 40 times and it did not work I do not understand why Draco Meteor one shot my Fighting Tera Corviknight asits part Steel typing should resist the Dragon moves.
How do you survive setting up long enough to be able to attack? I can set up but then go to attack and be knocked out before I attack, or I can heal and try to attack next turn but still get knocked out before I can attack with set up. The only damage I have managed to do is the first three body press at the beginning of the battle, unless I just use body press over and over but that's not enough to win.
Tried Malamar fighting tera max hp max atk moveset superpower, skill swap, tera blast, and reflect ability contrary it actually works just reset raid for no intimidate trainers or the one who has Sylveon
@BLAINES Sweet. Any chance giveaways in the future will be Smogon-based as far as Nature goes? I see a ton of Hardy ones - got plenty of mints to change them though.
Nothing to do with this video but just wandering if you are planning to bring back some mythics that haven't been in rotation in a while, Genesect, Marshadow etc
I wasn't able to beat it solo with this build. I did use this build but had assistance from my cousin. They used Bloodmoon Ursaluna attacked a little but kept me alive long enough to get setup done and terrastalize. Once I had my set up done and terrastalized I was doing massive damage, and my cousin just kept using moonlight to heal himself while I attacked. It took us several tries to figured out a strategy and then even more to actually beat it because I swear the game was cheating.😂
Yeah this build isn't working for me at all. I've done the raid several times and haven't been able to get close to beating it at all. I can't get through the shield before losing the raid, this build just isn't it.
If you need help getting the pokemon for the raid i can trade you one and send me your friend code so i can do the raid with you, you dont have to trade me anything good just catch whatever and send that
@@kirramcdowell I can tell you why the tactic is bs. 1. While you are taking care of your defense, Dragonite gets stronger with Dragon Dance and can still hit you with one hit. 2. Corviknight is not a good attacker, the attack values are too bad to really cause damage. No attempt has worked for me.
Use orthworm Fighting Tera Max hp max defense Ability earth eater 3 mudslap Body press till he clears your stats 3 iron defense Body press until dead I’ve done 25 so far never had less than 50% timer left
I get this is hyperbole on your part, but is it really that surprising people are still playing a Pokémon game years after its initial release? I mean it’s the single most popular franchise in the world, bar none, so I wouldn’t be surprised if people were playing this game years after Pokémon Legends Z-A. And despite the plethora of performance issues, Pokemon fans aren’t typically known to be the picky type when it comes to graphics and performance, so long as the rudimentary Pokemon formula is still present in each game.
@Silvanity_ I'm well aware new Pokemon fans have no standards. I've had to watch my favourite franchise die a slow and painful death over the course of my entire life.
@HeyLookItsFNaFb I'm not, I'm leaving an astonished comment then clicking off because I can't believe there's still a market for content on this absolute stinker of an unoptimised mess. Can't wait for Switch 2 to come out and for Pokemon Gen 10 to have all the same problems with framerate, graphics and a cut down dex. People will still defend gamefreak.
