One thing I'd recommend for not just this video, but all guide videos, is to have timestamps (YT chapters) that break the videos down by section. It's a little bit daunting to find the small bits of information I need by randomly jumping around the video.
I'd suggest you to try using melee transference instead of the normal one because its faster. So basically just propa -> raplak -> spam melee -> spam rubico/zenith. Using regular keybind, that would be left click -> e -> left click
yep know about this, I find it a bit janky without a macro though but that's just me and my clumsy fingures xD You are correct though this is faster. Also currently I don't have access to vastilok or the correct stance mode which does slow things down a bit but once I obtain those that's what I'll be doing :>
Thank you for this. I'm still at the 'collect enough Arcane Nullify from Terry' stage, but every time I look at this video; there is something I see that I can improve in my Terry runs. If only I can figure out why I don't find more vombs after the initial two and instead need to go and force spawn one under Terry. Guess I'm just too slow and screw up the spawns.
Remember Revenant is an amazing alternative to Volt for eidolons. Speeds takes a bit of a hit but you dont have to worry about Health knockdowns and tedious positioning. Run a Vectis fraction Reset on the arcane. Arcane Rise and Arcase temp on the frame Arcane slots, replace his 4th with Eclipse you DO NOT need Nullifier with Revenant his passive is legit meant for the plains use it. Honestly the most annoying part of eids is the vome spawning imo. But remember Revenant solid option I one shot the eidolons with him. And Sarpa of course not neccessary, and An AOE 2ndary to get Vomes fast if necessary Remember you also have free primed sure footed with Revenant. Volt I'm pretty sure is a standard but I doubt he is critically important to Eidolons. I dont doubt it I know he isn't critical to them. Revs lore legit was him managing the battle field at night when Gara couldn't. So it makes sense.
bruh i used revenant last time im still tryna learn to get atleast 10 minutes my volt run is like 18 minutes i tried revenant i got 14 lol But i still wanna achieve on 10m on volt cause i keep dying to hydrolyst alot
lol "doubt volt is critically important" volt's 3 (shield) gives 200% critical multiplier if you shoot through it, which applies to operator amps as well, its the only skill in the entire game that is able to buff operator amp, also stacking 3 of his shields together gives another 150% electric damage (50% each) which buffs your weapon's radiation damage, augment for his 1 ability (shock trooper) buffs electricity damage of you and allies in 15meters (base 100% scaling with ability strength). but yeah use Revenant because in the lore he "managed the battle field at night" 🤣🤣
1. Do you have any tips for long spawn? I assume that without Zenith you can't really afford to wait for the other limb to emerge in order to get a stagger to the left. Hydrolyst specifically since he is tallest and I found the angles on the hill are rather annoying, causing me to sometimes lose propa damage due to falloff or not be able to get a clean shot on limbs. Would you happen to have any clips for reference? 2. Does pushing to left vs right on mid matter a lot or is that just preference? 3. General limb order: is it whatever or do you want to pop shoulders first as long as you alternate if you're not daywalking? Thanks for the vids, I love the series.
nice questions and happy to help. I'll likely make a seperate video on walking and what's best. However to answer your first question, you can wait for the other limb to emerge but you will lose about 3 seconds (which is still fine as long as you're not messing too much else up). My walking pattern on long spawn tends to be to push him right as soon as the limb emerges, then - as he is kind of in front of the hill, I go behind him and place my shield there instead, this makes it a lot easier to shoot the arm / shoulder from behind and push him back toward the lake (hope that makes a bit of sense). To answer question 2, pushing to the right first I would consider better as if you push to the left the eidolon has a chance to get stuck on that rocky outcrop - which whilst its good when daywalking, its a bit annoying when not. Question 3: I usually pop shoulders and arms first, I keep legs up as a back up in case I mess up a shoulder or arm shot as they are generally harder to hit - and yes I do alternate left, right etc... Hope this helps :)
Sorry for all the questions, but you're my go-to guy for eidolons now. How important is PSF for hunting? I ask because I want to run rush instead and I'm also over 300 days away from getting PSF
@@jacsonitos5420 Thanks, I'm looking forward to it. I'm not trying to break speedrun times, but I want to get fast enough to one day do 6x3. I started off at 3x3 and with the help of your videos I've worked my way up to 5x3, even with some pretty sloppy runs.
That's great to hear, glad I could help. Getting fast times isn't everything but they do help with understanding whether or not you are at the point where you can 6 cap.i usually say if you can average 7.20 on last hydrolysts limb you should be able to comfortably 6 cap solo
hi! any chances we can get a guide for 6x3 but duo, and not solo? like best setups, how good fast charge looks in due, which focus schools should we choose? i remember doing 6x3 with 4 people, might even had few hunts with you lol, but know I feel like everything was changed and its hard to find best strategy by myself after not hunting for few years! thx in advance!
@@realtayvin8868 Yep, I've sinced changed this up now that I'm in a position to use as many pads as I want on this account. The energize simply meant that I used less before
@@jacsonitos5420 I didn't have vastilok or sarpa before so I was trying to use redeemer prime and it wasn't doing anything but now i have vastilok and my God I understand it's use now. Idk why it didn't do anything on redeemer.
Excellent video! Question - I have the EXACT same mods on my rubico and it only has a total of less than 1k damage??? What do you have that increases the damage number to 3k in arsenal? Thanks! And keep it up, homie :D
That sounds interesting! Just checking you are talking about total damage and not just radiation? My build has 1k rad. But 3.8k total. Also bit of an obvious question but are you using normal Ruby or prime? Otherwise you'd have to send me a pic for me to figure it out :>
Hi ! great vid. thanks for all the tips and everything. Helps a lot ! Though there's one thing I don't seem to understand : whenever I put the crewmate down, and put him on hold, and then do the rest of the Teralyst, when I come back after getting all 5 additional lures while Terry is down, the crewmate usually did... jack shit. At this point I'm left with a single charged lure, 2 lures hanging under Terry, and 5 lures following me. best I can do then is stay away so the lures following me don't mess it up and remotely kill the voms that spawned with Terry down. In that case, I cap Terry but have 0 charged lure to start Gaunt. Is there anything specific I should be careful about when placing the crew ? Or maybe specific stats ? Oh and yes, I'm using a tenet cycron (not well built but I assume that would be enough to kill voms)
don't place crewmate tooooo close, it can bug. And he is only used for getting the voms that spawn when eidolon goes down and stands back up (4 down, 5 up).
@@jacsonitos5420 Alright, thanks ! I managed to make him do his job by upgrading the cycron, as well as taking some more time to place him. Though it is janky sometimes haha
Probably not, on call crewmate has a much higher dps but also, and more importantly, with a beam weapon, can arc shots on to the vomvalysts and guarantee that they charge the lures
Hi, maybe you can explain how you charged 6 lures after you killed 1st eidolon. I do solo eidolon hunts myself to, best result was 4x3 +2. It's still mystery for me how people does it. To charge 1st lure is easy, you get 3 vombs after you destroyed all eidolon limbs to fully charge 2nd lure, 5 more vombs then 1st eidolon gets up (so you can charge 3rd lure and get +2 vombs for 4th lure), so you need 13 vombs more fully charge next 5 lures you have. If I count correctly, during 2nd eidolon fight you get 1 random vomb, 3 vombs after you destroyed all limbs, you capture +2 vombs at fields and 5 more then eidolon gets up, so in total its 11 vombs (maybe I missed something). So i have question how you charged last lure?
my propa takes like a whole second between shots, so I just take forever to do 2x propa into raplak... Is there some weird new bug, or am I doing something wrong? it feels like in the video it's "pop pop, raplak" and with me it's almost "pop... wait... pop... raplak" as if I had a super low fire rate, but there is no way to modify amp firerate as far as I know
Do not spam the Propa, if you spam click secondary fire it will not work, kinda in the same way that spamming abilities doesn't always work how you'd expect. You need to actually time when you click to fire. Takes a bit of practice but after a while it becomes muscle memory :>
Hey quick question, ive recently just built the 177 and gilded it, i tried using the propa but it just knocks me back? and from the looks of it it gets stuck on volts shield, do you know anything about it?
Yo! Yes currently in the game Volts shield is bugged (confirmed by the devs). This will likely be fixed when Duviri is released :) but at the moment it is not preventing knock back (which it usually does)
that's personal preference. For teralyst use the on call crew mate - it will save you a headache. For gantulyst and hydrolyst you can use propa if you're comfortable with it, or alternatively a neat trick you can do is use your Nechramech with Larkspur and mop them up that way :)
hey! i've watched this guide at least 3 times, gaining some trido captures in my statistics from 0. atm i am almost at 300 caps and mostly play dps role since not really into soloing. but now, i want to focus more on vs role and i don't really understand what's happening to my operator: sometimes, before shooting propa or after 1 propa shot my operator gets staggered, holding the hand and just doesn't do what i want him to do. i'm sure i'm not getting hit by eidolon's leg or sth like that and i would really like to understand this and how to avoid this. i also noticed that many hunters (including you, at least on teralyst) often put their shield really far away from the bosses, and after trying that i just can't break the shield, because my propa detonates much closer and barely deals any damage. how do you do that? xD anyways, thank you very much for a guide, it really helped me a lot so i can do 5x3 per night with my friends with no sweat.
So currently there is a bug with volts shield (which might be causing your knock back). Basically the shield no longer prevents knock back, this should be fixed in Duviri :) as for standing further away, there is a sweet spot but if you want to improve your odds you can wait at Orcus relay on pluto about 20 mins before night and someone will provide a damage blessing (which affects operator amps)
@@jacsonitos5420 well, i wouldn't say it's a knockback, since operator always on his feet and knockback looks different. it's just a stagger for a few seconds, while i can't shoot/go void mode/jump into a warframe. if i only had a footage of this.. my friends had this couple of times and they also don't know what triggers it lol, it's definitely not a propa shot, cuz it happens even before you shoot. didn't know about damage blessing tho, will give it a try, thank you!
i finally understand what it was. i was close to his right leg (left from his perspective). everytime he steps after screaming session he makes a little earthquake if i can say so lol, which leads to stagger.
Hi, I was wondering what combinations of vastilok should I use for stripping the armor. I'm confused since it does a heavy attack and a regular attack and I don't wanna overstrip eidilon.
It depends on the stance mod you are using. Also depending on what primary weapon you are using overstripping isn't a terrible thing, most weapons can still one shot :> however, for a perfect strip I you will need a rank 3 shattering impact on a vastilok using High Noon stance, then just use three normal attacks :)
@@jacsonitos5420 Thank you! This helped me get my first tridolon capture. Also one more thing how do u kill the eidilons limbs without it making a single move I also take sheilds in or two shots but the eidilon moves which makes it super hard to hit the shot and kind of messes up the run.
@@jacsonitos5420 I've actually already watched it and tried the combination of e then weapon but it just ends up overstripping the eidilon because of the vastilok which lowers my rubicos damage output
@@aotex3969 yeah, I mean I just strip the armor completely anyway so I don't have to worry about it. My build is powerful enough to one shot anyway. Maybe play around with your mods on volt to get a build that works when armor is fully stripped?
Eclipse does provide a buff at night whilst in the moonlight (don't stand too close to any trees). It is obviously less than in the day but still very powerful
I'm not sure to understand how does the swap from Operator to Rubico is happening? Do you use a macro to do Operator > Warframe Melee > Warframe Rubico ? Or do you not really care about procking the two mods for swapping sometimes ?
No macros used, and no melee swapping to warframe in this vid as far as I'm aware however that would be the preferred method if you're using the zenith. If you take a look at the amp timing guide vid you can see the melee swap combo on the go, but still no macros :)
The gunblade is used to strip the eidolon's armor. It can also be used to switch between operator and warframe quicker. As for the amp - currently Volts shield is bugged so propa will knock you back regardless (the devs day this will be fixed in duviri). I would strongly advise practicing with it (when it's not bugged) as it is by far the fastest way to take down shields, but if you are really adverse to it then I would recommend just using raplak or a 7-7-7 amp. Getting a 6x3 becomes a bit trickier though
Not sure what ya mean really, if you don't have helminth then you don't have helminth in which case you should work towards getting helminth and in the meantime just use shock trooper on volt
I'll do a focus tree vid at some point. But I assume you are referring to contamination wave in madurai? it's operator's second ability if you are on madurai. You want to use it on a target before using your amp, as it increases the target's vulnerability to operator damage
Strength does not affect operator damage through the shield you are correct, but the strength is not for the shield anyway its to boost damage from shock trooper and eclipse and also provide increased speed on volts 2nd
@@jacsonitos5420 Thanks! a duo hunting video would be great, me and my friend are trying to get into eidolon hunting from 0% and we didn't know what budget built to go with since we can't get the really endgame stuff yet.Thought about wisp or trinity but guess we will go nova.
How do you always have enough vomms for your lures. I can never seem to get enough before the eidilon stands up which just makes the fight annoying as I can't stand still and knell the eidilon at the end bc I'm getting hit by everything the eidilons got xD
I would take a look at my lure fast charging guide in conjunction with me lure charging guide. Alternatively you can see me do live hunts on twitch and can ask me questions about what's going on there :)
@@jacsonitos5420 I've actually watched them. However when today for whatever reason the eidilon didn't spawn enough vomms around it even tho in your videos I see eidilon has vomms rushing around it in the final downed phase. Also I will try my best to watch your livestreams and ask there but your stream times are kinda late for me I'll try to join if I'm free :)
if you have a necramech you can put larkspur on it for a beam weapon alternative. But you will have to stick around after eido goes down to mop up the voms yourself :>
It means that when you scope in after coming out of operator, you will auto switch to your primary thereby proccing vig swap for extra damage (and holster amp if you ave it). Also, if you are using Zenith, it allows you to shoot the zenith before the gunblade even fires, creating a near perfect limb break time - this is however tricky to do consistently without a macro
So when I use it on the eidolon it's to strip armor, when I use it just randomly (seemingly) it's to actually just equip the weapon as when I scope in with the melee equipped I swap to my primary and thereby proc vigorous swap :)
A macro in this context refers to a series of key presses on your keyboard or mouse. So for example, I could program a macro to left click, then hit E on my keyboard, then left click again practically instantly (a lot faster than I could hit the keys myself). I could bind this to just one key on my keyboard, for example 'B'. So then every time I hit B on my keyboard, it goes through the above sequence of key strokes and mouse clicks. The problem with this is that there is a fine line between what is and isn't a third party software so if you were to get banned from the game after using a macro you would have no appeal against it (hence I never risk using them).
Propa has a damage falloff from the centre of the explosion so first step would be to try and get a bit closer. The Propa shot could be detonating before the eidolon shield comes up so try adjusting your timing. Propa detonations can be intercepted by obstacles such as trees and sometimes lures so be sure to place your shields accordingly. Best thing to do is keep placing shields around until you find a spot that works consistently
@@jacsonitos5420 um I'm a bit confused (may just me being stupid) but you said there's a damage falloff from the centre of the explosion but won't getting closer to the eidolon make the eidolon get slapped by the centre of the explosion?( Unless you meant the further you get away from the centre the less damage you do in which case my bad) Also I'm not talking about a damage falloff I am literally talking about 0 damage. Like the hitboxes not colliding at all 0 damage. And it's happened a multitude of times including times where there are 0 obstacles between the shot and the eidolon, I am right under him, and his shield is fully vulnerable.
@@diluconeal7199 I mean from the centre of the Propa explosion. And if you are right under him maybe try moving a bit further away. It really is a case of finding the sweet spot As the eidolons hit box is very messed up
@@Emerald__S I will be releasing a video on this however if you are interested I do have some older 6 cap videos where the movement is still relevant: ru-vid.com/group/PLYUt8Ex1y5SPI2nT4K9KhYLm19ktuuaRS You can skip to the last Hydros to see movement. Not sure when the Eidolon Walking vid will be up but it may not be for a couple more weeks.
so there's a few things I can suggest. Firstly, make sure you are close enough to the eidolon. Propa has some signficant fall off. Secondly, make sure that your Madurai skill tree is maxed out. Thirdly make sure that your amp arcanes are both active (onslaught and the other one, which I've now forgotten the name of...). Fourthly, make sure you are not firing too early. Also make sure that your propa shots are definitely going through Volt's shield. If you are still having some issues check out my amp timing guide video as that shows shield takedowns in slow motion using the raplak as well to make doubly sure the shield goes down in one.
@jacsonitos5420 thank you I guess I'll just keep practicing until I get it down i feel maybe I'm not close enough as the propa shot doesn't travel very far. Does it need to make direct contact with the Eidolon or just explode close enough to it? Should I aim for a certain part of its body?
why do 1 million vomvalysts spawn for each stage my crewmate in all his glory has about 50% chance of killing them before regenning some shield or the like
Its an old way of being able to stay in Void Mode without having to hold down anything on your keyboard. PS I have an updated Eidolon Guide on my channel :)
Vigorous swap can make a huge difference yes. It's damage is multiplicative and not additive (i.e. it applies after mods) which means it essentially more than doubles your damage.
The second set of voms is all about timing. If you don't get the two at the camp quickly enough you will run into problems (as the next spawn cycle will occur before you can get into position, meaning they will appear in some random spot around the camp)
😂There's a lot to try and get in, if there's anything you want me to explain in a bit more detail / go slower on I'd be happy to make a seperate vid :>
Aslong as you are not close to any trees you will get a damage bonus at night (from the moonlight). This bonus increases during eidolon fight as the eidolon and its abilities emit higher light levels
@@jacsonitos5420 I tried the exact same build and gear u shown in the video and I want to say THANK YOU. Everything is amazing and work perfectly fine, like in te video. This is amazing ❤️. I want to ask only how I can use the zenith instead of the rubico prime. Can you show as the build? Thank you very much.
So in this guide vid, since we are not using melee to engage transference (going from operator to frame) we will not proc vigorous swap. So in order to proc vigorous swap I make sure to have my melee out before swapping back to frame and then when I scope in with the rubi to take the shot on the limb it auto swaps me from melee to primary (thereby proccing vig swap)
First eidolon easy second eidolon rarely lose one the last eidolon is the headache. Also same volt build but i use a vastilok heavy attack build with a riven with CC CD and a - and eclipse buff to take out limbs. I dont use rubico prime i have 1.
@@chamucoliz for gantulyst, aslong as you take out the limbs fast enough you should avoid lasers spawning, which is what really kills lures fast. Same for hydro, faster you kill limbs the less stuff will spawn that can kill your lures :>
