TIME STAMPS AND ALGORITHMS:
Step 1: solve the tips (0.31)
Step 2: solve the yellow centers (1:14)
Step 3: solve the yellow edges (2:42)
If the edge is on the left:
U ccw, L ccw, U cw, L cw
or U' L' U L
If the edge is on the right:
U cw, R cw, U ccw, R ccw
or U R U' R'
Insert a random edge:
R cw, U ccw, R ccw
or R U' R'
Step 4: solve the last layer (9:17)
3 edge cycle:
R cw, U ccw, R ccw, U ccw, R cw, U ccw, R ccw
or R U' R' U' R U' R'
2 edges flipped:
L cw, Rccw, L ccw, R cw, U ccw, R cw, U cw, R ccw
or L R' L' R U' R U R'

Ok I have scrambled and tried solving this countless times and EVERY TIME I end up with ONE piece out of place. I have yet to find a video explaining this and I have followed step by step multiple tutorials and keep ending up with just ONE piece that needs to be flipped around. So 2 sides are solved, 2 sides are almost solved they just need 1 piece to flip and it would be solved.

@@nicnapier For example, blue and red would be solved, yellow and green would be solved except 1 piece had green in the yellow and yellow in the green. I ended up removing that piece and flipping it so that the entire pyraminx was solved because it didn't make sense why that was the only piece out of place and I couldn't find a video explaining it. 😂 Since I did this I have been able to solve it multiple times. I'm really not sure why that happened because it didn't matter how many times I scrambled the puzzle and started over, I would always end up with just 1 piece out of place. I'm wondering if my niece took a piece out and flipped it on accident because it was hers before she gave it to me.

I was about to guess that a piece was flipped. The only way to fix that is to take it apart. 👍
