To anyone struggling with the final step, here are the two most important things to remember: 1. Finish the R' D' R D algorithm completely before aligning the next corner piece. Don't forget to do the last D move. 2. Don't rotate the entire cube to align the next corner piece, only turn the top layer. The same center color should be facing you the entire last step. Good luck!
I tried the rubiks cube for 5min in 1979 @ school. I gave up, gave it back to the nerd with super large spectacles & relished the music of the 1980's. It's now 2022 & It's been on my bucket list ever since. Who's the daddy now eh. Cheers sir, your a diamond... a rough diamond. So impressed with myself from sunny London.
this guide got me to solve a rubiks cube for the first time in my life! thank you so much. been having so much fun the last couple of weeks solving it on my own and timing myself after memorising the pattern :)
Guys, i used your method and it works, I finally did it. It took me couple tries and watch the videos few times but it works. Your videos are awesome, really explanatory.
Re-wrote your instructions to something I can read quickly, and nailed it!! You gave great instructions thanks 😊 also sort of made a new algorithm, where if you are doing the centre pieces, if you turn left to get away from the two colors on the piece, then I swapped the algorithm to the opposite of the one given, so depending on which way you turn, then you have a way, works every time 😊
Bro, ive tried a lot of tutorials, found some confusing, some just not making sense and not working with what i did. But your video. It was spectacular i must say. After an hour of trying and failing. I finally did it, i cant express i happy i was and i want to thank you. Have a good day bro
My girlfriend received a Rubik’s cube from a friend and I couldn’t resist but to try and solve it! I found your guide and got to work. Three nights of frustration and I finally got my first solve. At this point I’ve solved about 5 times and I’m trying to memorize the yellow corners move. Thank you for a very thorough explanation and visuals. Cheers!
You have been the BEST teacher on how to solve a rubik's cube, like really after 3 times I finally got to know how to solve it from watching your videos.Your video was so helpful to me,Thank you so much..
I'm currently learning full OLL and PLL, but I wanted to watch this anyway. I have a younger cousin who wants to learn how to solve it, and I think this is the perfect tutorial for him. Thank you so much for this
I've been watching this video for 2-3 days and I am so proud of myself, well I've got a story time, that's why I'm learning how to solve a rubik's cube! Grab your water and hopefully try to enjoy the real short story lol. After the examinations, it was vacation time, no more school. My teachers and I kept in touch because well, we just did (same with my classmates). After a week or two, my history teacher and I were texting when she told me to visit her at school. She assured me that all the teachers would be there on Friday. I still had two months before school started (present: 10 days left; school was originally going to start on July 22 > then moved to July 29 > and finally to August 5, so I have 10 days left). Since my family wasn’t planning to go anywhere during vacation, I figured, why not? I planned to go on Friday, but it was canceled because my parents changed their minds. I then decided to go the next Friday, and my dad agreed, saying, "It's up to your mom." However, I didn’t know if mom agreed since she’s always playing on her phone and wouldn’t give me a clear answer. The day before Friday, I told mom I needed to go tomorrow, and she disagreed, so it was canceled again. I promised myself I’d go the next Friday, but my dad forgot and didn’t agree. Finally, after 3-4 weeks of my parents’ indecision, I was able to go. When I visited, my history teacher wasn’t there, but my English teacher spotted me. We had a conversation covering many topics, he kept bringing up random topics so I just went with the flow. After awhile, he had to leave so I went into the faculty room. As I was about to leave, my history teacher finally arrived. She spotted me and was literally excited, shocked, surprised, and thrilled. She literally hugged me so tightly lol. She tried to teach me how to solve a Rubik’s cube but I couldn't understand anything, BECAUSE INSTEAD OF A NORMAL 3X3 RUBIK'S CUBE, IT WAS THE MIRROR CUBE. Her normal 3x3 Rubik’s cube was missing so we used her mirror cubes (she has three mirror cubes). After a lot of time, she gave me her scrambled/messed up mirror cube and said, "I'll let you borrow this one, and you have to solve it before school starts. Then, let's race solving the cube." For weeks, I've been trying to learn how to solve the mirror cube by watching youtube tutorials, but they kept saying I needed to know how to solve a normal 3x3 Rubik’s cube first so SO HERE I AM WITH ONLY 10 DAYS LEFT. I solved my very first Rubik’s cube today and once I master it, I’ll try to solve the mirror cube. Please wish me luck:))
I HAD TO REDO IT SO MANY TIMES!!! But by the end I did it and I also skipped step 7!!! I am so happy I finally solved a Rubiks Cube!!!!!! Thank you so much this tutorial was amazing!!!!! ❤🎉
Thank you so much for this amazing tutorial! When I watched other videos, the Cube seemed too complex. But with this, I quickly memorized the algorithms, and now I can do it in under 10 minutes!
@@Dragonking1843 It’s simple once you understand. IDK why people make such a big deal about it. I learned it in, like, 5 minutes. Not trying to brag, just saying.
Thank you so much for this tutorial! It helped me solve my Rubik’s Cube for the first time and I loved it. I tried and the last step didn’t work but after a while I got it!
Thank you Cubeorithms! I’ve wanted to learn to solve a 3x3 for 6 years now and I finally decided to learn it today. I used the method you showed and it took me a few hours to memorize but now I can atleast solve a 3x3. My next goal is to learn faster methods etc🙌🏻
Thank you for the tutorial. It is really easy to understand! Solved my first ever cube within 4:50 minutes❤ Out of all the videos that I saw on youtube, your method is to the point and really helpful graphics. Great job!!!
Thanks for this tutorial. One suggestion for you is to call the top “top.” I notice that sometime you call it “top” and sometimes you call it “up side.” This gets confusing for a newbie, like me. Also, could you please slow down? Thanks. 🌺
Thank you SO much for this video. i’ve been i’ve been trying to solve a rubik’s cube for so long and watched so many videos but they just didn’t work. your video is the only one that worked and thanks to you i solved my first cube!
This is a good tutorial don't get me wrong, but I feel like no tutorial ever talks about what to do if you've been twisting corners or taking pieces in and out. I feel like a lot of people trying to learn the cube might have done them and be frustrated why this isn't working.
It’s easier to think of 1 four move sequence for the middle layer. If the top needs to go left, turn the top *right*, then use the *left* version of the sequence, turn to the *left* side, and do the *right* version of the 4 move sequence. Right Left Left Right
all of the other tutorials were so confusing for me, but the animation in this one made understanding it very easy! thank you so much for this tutorial! this is the first time i've ever solved a rubik's cube! edit: i keep messing up somehow on the last corners, I do the r'd'rd but when i finish with the d, it gets rid of a white sticker that was there already. if i skip the d, it totally messes it up. I always position the corner i need to solve in the top right.
Finally after hours i finally solved my first ever cube all because of you like all the other tutorials are so complicated but you explain it nicely you deserve a sub!
Bro i know im two years late and all but THANK YOU BRO THANK YOUUUU. My younger cousin was the only reason I actually tried, i was at his house last week and he was solving his, he makes it look super easy and solved it in under a minute. I asked him if he could teach me and he did but since i had to leave i was never taught fully and i didnt have a cube. I discovered this video and watched it so i could be ready since my dad ordered mine and it came yesterday, i kept struggling over and over, i wrote the directions and sequences where i could understand them and just now i actually solved it. Sorry for the yap session but thank you bro
this is really the only video that has helped me to solve the cube my cube has been scrambled for 3 years and I finally solved it you can t imagine how much I am proud now thanks you just earned a like and subscribe
The Best Tutorial Ever I failed so many times with other tutorials but this one helped a lot and i finally solved it, thanks for all the effort you put in to this
Thank you so much ...i came across this cube during my teenage in the year 2013-14 and now in 2024 u helped me in doving the first two layers with logical convo and not just algorithms and cube drawings with arrows . Soon to finish ...❤❤❤❤
Thank you sooooooo much, I spent so long looking for the right video and finally found it. Now I have finally solved it and to make things better it is my birthday today and now I can celebrate it with this achievement. Keep up the good work 👏 👍
The best beginners guide I found. I watched a number of other videos as I was having trouble getting the yellow corners in place without messing up the white side. Thank you for the simple clear instructions.
For years I thought solving a Rubic cube is impossible, but after watching this video 2 days ago, now I can solve it in less than 2 minutes, this tutorial is so good!!!
Thank you! All the other tutorials I didn’t understand because it was all “do this oll and this r’ but you actually explained all the moves very well :)
bro THANK YOU i got the cube a few days ago and i thought to my self "oh, ima scramble it!" and then i was trying to solve it and it was just even more scrambled. so i got into youtube and then after efforts of trying to find a tutorial thats actually understandable, i stumbled into this video! this was more easy than any other tutorial, you just earned a subscriber.
Dude , I just solved a Rubik's cube in a day for the first time! Thank you ! your tutorial is very clear and easy to understand and I loved the animation!. Thanks again.
Thanks for this great video! I already learned the first part from a Dutch video, but the algorithms you use from the yellow cross until the end seem much easier to remember (especially your 'favorite sequence' 🙂), so hopefully I can do this soon without looking at the instructions I wrote down while learning it.
Such a good tutorial thanks for the efforts. The instructions are very clear and the animation makes it super helpful. I just did my first cube ever and I'm so proud. I tried doing it two days earlier but gave up after the first face. But i tried doing it again and after so many tries and failed attempts i can finally solve the whole cube.
When I was doing the last step I thought I was doing it correct but it got messed up But doing it 3 to 4 times I got it Thank u very much now I know how to slove the cube
I finally solved the cube. After hours of trying and messing up in the last steps, I finally completed the cube and it felt so awesome! Even though it takes A LOT of patience, I would definitely recommend this (By the way, best tutorial ever)
This is the only video that I have found that really breaks it down for you. Finally got to finish the cube multiple times thanks to this video, very well made. 🎉❤ Thank you for the help 😊
First video I have been able to follow and solve my first rubixcube!!!!thank you took me rewatching it an insane amount of times but I did it!!!! Thank you
I AM SO CONFUSED, EVERY TUTORIAL IS THE SAME, I DONT GET THE FIRST STEP! LIKE WHAT TO DO AFTER YOU MAKE THE DAISY? EVERYONE INCLUDING YOU MAKES IT SO DIFFICULT 😥 I HAVE CRIED MULTIPLE TIMES, BECAUSE OF THIS.
What he's done is lined up the white edges with the colour opposite to the white centre and lined the other side of the white edges with their corresponding colour. The next step should just be a simple 180⁰ turn for all 4 sides and that should make the white cross
I've never been able to solve a cube because of this one step, too. What I do now is slide the piece to a different side, depending on which side of the face it is on, and continue with the algorithm.
