Great video, but I'd like to add some things to the cross part for those non-cubers out there who might be stuck. 1. "What if my cross piece is not in the top layer?" If your cross piece isn't in the top layer, then face the piece you want to get into the top layer and do F moves until it is in the top layer. Then do the algorithm Derpy mentions in the video. Move the cross piece to above where it should go (Using U moves). If the piece is flipped, do U' R' F R. If it is not, simply do F2. This applies when your cross piece is in the bottom layer or the middle layer. 2. "What if my cross piece is in the cross, but is in the wrong slot?" If you have a cross piece in the wrong slot, make sure you are facing the cross piece. Then do F2. Now you can insert it into the correct slot using the algorithm Derpy mentions. Move it to the slot above where it is supposed to go, and do F2. OR you can just insert the correct cross piece into the spot where the wrong cross piece is. When you do that, it will move the incorrect cross piece out and the correct cross piece in.
I've been subbed to you for like 3 years, I don't really know why because I've never tried a cube before ever but yesterday I decided to try one and I watched some tutorials but then I watched this one and it helped me much more. Thanks. Now I'm gonna buy a better cube...
Yay thanks i was about to compete in 3x3 but I didn't know how to solve one thanks for this yay now I am sub 7 minutes and I think i might podium!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111!!!!111!!!!!!
JPerm’s. It’s more intuitive and simplified, and easier to understand/ memorize for beginners. Beginners don’t like memorizing algs, so this tutorial may be discouraging. This video was made for people who wanted to solve it in a hurry, while JPerm’s was made for those who would like to properly learn it.
Cool tutorial but I don’t think it’s smart to do orange cross because other tutorials are different. This will make it difficult to follow tutorials in the future with most on white cross.
