Hello friends welcome to Funny Moment
In this video tutorial I am showing How to solve automatically C drive full problem or low disk space problem. This problem is faced for restoring point, temporary system files and windows updates.
Here are some steps you can follow
in the vedio i have just cleaned the windows update
At first right click on your My Computer and then click on Properties.
Now click on System protection.
Click on Configure..
And then Delete all previous restoring points.
Set the max Usage 6% then click on OK.
Now on Create give any restoring point name and click on create.
2nd step
Now we need to clean the temporary system files for this click on search button and type Disk Cleanup.
Open Disk cleanup select C drive and click OK.
Select all files and click on Clean up system files and then OK
After that click on OK and then Delete files.
3rd step
At last step we need to delete all unwanted windows updates.
For this go to this location C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download
Now completely delete all the files and folders from here.
That’s it.. Done
Now go to your my computer and check Your C drive.
Watch the video carefully for clearly understand all three steps.

@@EliteTech, Unfortunately, it didn't really work for me. It just gave me like an extra GB. My laptop is driving me crazy. Been trying to create a recovery drive so that I can reset it, but to no avail. Keeps telling me some files are missing. Trying to create an installation media disk isn't working either cuz it's asking for 8GB minimum on the C drive which is obviously almost full for some reason even after following your tutorial. I just want to reset my laptop :((( Plz advise if you could.

Do you have pending Windows updates? Or perhaps check Windows Event Manager and see if it throws any specific errors.

Don't worry dear When you delete updates folder Then try to disable automatic updates There are many ways to disable it just search for it.

Hey Martin, this may be coming one year later.....I had thesame problem like you. I deleted it from the recycle bin and it did save me some space. I'd suggest you delete items from your recycle bin or empty it if need be. Good luck!

The download folder in software distribution contains the cache files which you can safely delete,Delting this folder won't delete your downloads which you downloaded from internet and your question ends here. Thanks!

I have deleted my download folder, though there was only one file. So I deleted. But still the C drive was indicating red. Then I saw your comment and go to reply. Here Gaming and Tutorials by TechGamerJacob replied you to empty your recycle bin. I did that and got the clear C drive.

Actually I had many things in my download folder, and my desktop. Whatever I download - fonts, designs, youtube videos, porn, movies, songs each and everything I used to keep in download folder for years. And same goes for Desktop. These two were full then. I deleted every single item from there, both Download folder and desktop. And managed everything by creating separate folder with proper name. Cleared Recycle Bin. Automatically C drive cleared more than it's half and gave me some relief. Now I always keep Download folder and desktop clear.

@@EliteTech I actually ended up giving my computer an entire factory reset. Fixed the problem. To this moment I have no idea if it was some sort of corrupted file. All of my files and downloads where deleted and empty. Thank you tho!

Didn't work for me. Computer froze and after restarting with over 30GB free, I've ended up with 3.30GB. - Disk cleanup tried - didn't work. - Your method did free some space, only 411 Mb...

These are useful tips, but it didn't move the needle in getting me out of the red. You also need to check any programs running in the background. I had recently installed iDrive backup service, and despite its many glowing reviews online, it suddenly ate up my C drive's disk space. I uninstalled the program from "Programs and Features," and yet, my disk's memory kept draining out. Later, I found a leftover (and apparently still active) iDrive folder under Local Disk and deleted it. Immediately, all of my disk space returned.

Dear these windows updates are of no use and it cause space problem and pc performance . If you want to update windows or any other software you can do it manually.

Hey man pls reply pls pls pls pls pls. My disc c had 69.9gb and now its f*#$ing 58.4gb and still decreasing. Pls help me. I downloaded a torrent file which is a game. Can it be the cause!!!! Like when i clicked on setup first it was not coming and then i restarted and a window came and it said.......windows protecting yr device this is harmul for yr device and then i saw its damned decreasing. Now pls help me why it happens like decreasing
