When doing Domain Redirect using cPanel, sometimes it's not working. In this tutorial, I'll show you 1 proven way on how to fix this issue using .htaccess file.

I can easily visit the website directly and in incognito mode after changing the domain but when from dashboard I try to visit the website then it leads to old domain url with nothing on the site. What can I do to get it to the new url

Hi I'm not really sure about this. It's better if you check with your hosting provider and see. Could be something wrong with cache that need the hosting provider to clear it.

Hi, you might not have access to cpanel. Some website development company only give the login for the website cms and not to the cpanel. Try to contact the web development company on this. Or you can contact your hosting provider.

Not sure what happen as well. It looks more like a different code as it is written security block instead of wordpress. I would suggest that you go to check with the support team for your hosting provider. All the best to you!

Wow thank you so much, been changing codes for a while now and nothing seemed to work, until i found your solution. amazing! redirect previously only worked if domain was typed in with www and did not work without www Ken Ang WK solution made it happen. hahaha so happy.
