logu R don’t change the panel first, disconnect one of the flex cable at tcon bd and check if the vertical lines still there, if no lines present then it is not the panel

Though I do not understand Tamil, the instructions were pretty self explanatory. I will try this and let you know. Thank you so much. :) Edit : I tried doing this exactly as you showed. But somehow it did not work. The problem is still there. I sent the TV to the repair shop.

@@aakudev The repair shop person said that the connectors were damaged and had to be replaced. There was also some form of moisture damage which cannot be repaired and hence even after the repair, there are still some faintly visible vertical lines.

I did several tests but nothing. Could you tell me which are the PINs that I have to block with the tape, I can not understand which is the trace of the signal (VCOM, CLKN, CLKP, CPV, STV, VGM ....) that is causing the problem. Sir, good video for a lay man. Recently,my BraviatvKLV-48W462D,2016, had nopicture first. Next day no audio too. Sir, the authorised service staff, checked it .; The.video and audio appered; but screen was full of horizantal lines. They said,they could have set it right in five miutes; but since,3rd party has attended, now the panel has to changed at a cost of ₹34000. Can the channel advise me please?

There was horizontal bar on the bottom of kdl42w700b of one inch and I removed the ribbons and cleaned.after that the whole display has vertical bars and only sound is there.please advice me..no matter even in tamil.
