5:55 what you could do here: 1) swap 7 with a 6, that setups both 3 and 7 for next swap this way 2) insert 3 then 7, or 7 then 3 in whatever order, keeping blank in the middle 3) just insert 1 and finish the puzzle in 3 moves it takes 18 moves for this case and its extremely obvious reasons why your solve in not "advanced": - you completely ignored position of 7 at the start, that is not reasonable for such small puzzle at all - you inserted number 2 separately of 3 to just move it back again, that is not reasonable even for beginner's solve - it took you several extra moves to realize that you have to move both 1 and 2 to give space for 3 like you don't know what you are doing? - you placed 7 on where 4 should go, but you did not notice that 4 is merged with it and will go in 7th place as well, so it was just waste of time well after that you just fixed that normally, so nothing to say about that, but that example was pretty bad 6:28 that one is much better, basically the same what i would do, but apparently you can save 2 moves here if after moving 4 on the bottom at the beginning, you would have moved 3 in the middle instead of 1 and then inserted 1 and 3 on top the same ways, then solved the rest in obvious way, that works because you prepare last 568 pattern in much better position, kinda hard to see tho 6:49 well that's bad, you could place 2 on 3rd place and then just insert 3 having 4 already placed perfectly in the middle for obvious ending But you placed 3 first that just take more moves anyway (you don't have to consider 4 to see that, its just more far away) You still could have a good solution, but instead of inserting 4 when it was aligned with 7 you moved it away to place 2, that is a beginner's decision And then at the end you solve 568 pattern in much more moves than needed because moving in suboptimal direction 7:04 that was a pain to look at, you moved 3 on the bottom at the start instead of moving it on its place, then you start fixing it, but its a really easy case where you could solve 47 in the process of placing 123 and i'm already too lazy to explain this
