Within the first minute, I knew exactly what I was doing wrong. There are so few videos out there that show how a sewing machine works in its individual parts. You explaining the need for the little gap solved all of the misunderstanding that I had of the Bobbin and shuttle. Thank You! Unfortunately finding this a little two late means we already bought another sewing machine, BUT now we have two. Which will be nice for when we both want to sew. Also, a machine for my son to start working with if he ever gets interested. Again thank you a lot for taking the time to explain how this works.☺

This actually helped me a lot! Though my machine is just a little table top one, it works the same way. I found out that thin metal bracket on the internal component wasn't pressed enough and there wasn't enough of a gap for my thread to come through. A couple squeezes later and the thread is now sliding through as it should! Thank You so much, super helpful. 😁👍🏻

Thank you very much for this idea friend. But for me i have buy this piece it a little different between the original piece. I place this in same place but the sewing is not good it atrap the stuck. So what can I do. Sorry for my bad English.

U need to by same length of original piece (C shaped shuttle driver spring ).if it is longer than the original piece or if it's wholes r not matched to original piece then it is not fitted properly in machine. So when u buy that one u need to check wholes nd length by placing original piece on new one. Any way Once try it as shown in this video at duration 2:50 (👈 click)pullback little bit with screwdriver carefully and press the end of c shaped metal with cutting blade nd next replce the shuttle nd tight the screws then u can see a gape b/w in that shuttle.now u can see bottom thread is coming up when u sew the machine as shown in this video. Down the needle little bit by loosing a screw then rotate a machine wheel nd try 2 catch bobin thread. Then it can catch bobin thread r else (It doesn't catch )then u should open shuttle nd follow the instructions as shown in this video. I hope u understand. Thanks for watching my channel.
