Hey, as an intermediate solver who is grasping advanced techniques, F2L is hard at first, and will slow ypu down ALOT, after a while, your F2L will be so much better. I used to average 1 minute, then 45, and after i learned F2L, it went back down to 55 sec. now, around a year later, my avg is finally 25, with a 15 pb. just keep going and dont stop.

Good stuff here! I'm pretty new to cubing and found some little details here very useful. However, you did forget to include the PLL case for swapping opposite corners (diagonally). Less common but should be included. No gripes otherwise. Thanks!

What happens for the f2L when the tops of the 2 are the same colour?
@dp2404
@dp2404 2 года назад
You need to turn the corner piece,sending it to the back and turning the side it's on
@codrin7733
@codrin7733 Год назад
@@dp2404 instructions unclear please specify how to do it
@dp2404
@dp2404 Год назад
@@codrin7733 are you familiar with the f2l? Let's say you are trying to solve the red blue corner. Basically you have 3 free rotations: the top layer can turn as many times as you want and then you have the rotation of the red and blue faces. When you rotate the faces you always want to move them up and then back down so the white-red and white-blue pieces go back into place. Take the blue red white corner and place it between the red and blue face on the top layer. Turn one of the 2 faces up (dependes what color you need on top) rotate the top layer so to get the piece out of the way, rotate the face back down. You'll need to play around a bit! Good luck 👍

i have a different method for the yellow side. So basically, when you solve the yellow cross, you turn the cube upside-down, and then make sure so that the unsolved yellow corner is facing you. And then repeat R U R' U' util the yellow part of that corner is facing down, where it needs to be. And THEN move the BOTTOM PART (D) of the cube so that the next unsolved yellow corner is in front of you. DON'T ROTATE THE WHOLE CUBE. And do the same thing for that yellow corner, until all of the corners are solved. No remembering required.
