Hey everyone! Making this video to help out people who think selling or uploading used parts takes too long. I think the way I do it makes it very time and cost effective. Thanks for watching! Check out my stores, and blog below.

You did a great job explaining the process and sharing your system. Thank you! Just starting up and watching your video makes me feel much more confident.

I really liked the system for adding used to existing - that makes a Ton of sense. I have a couple of ideas that I may implement myself going forward a bit in regards to that that may help in my specific situation. Thanks for this!

I’ve watched this video twice now. I wish I had seen it before I spent the better part of a month+ sorting by color. And now I still am working on sorting down by part. It’s definitely been much quicker going to a sort by like part in to bags and then fine tune that to specific part from much smaller faster. Probably 2-3 times faster. Thanks for the great info.

When I saw "mold bags" I immediately thought of moldy bread (sandwich bags)

Not sure if you are still reading this but you suggest to wait until we have "30 Pounds" before adding to inventory instead a 1-2 per lot. Why? I would think anything in inventory is good. Yes, it is less efficient. But other than that, why not?

Nice bro this is exactly what I do to sort them down. I actually enjoy sorting lol. Hopefully they approve my store. Where do you buy bulk lots from?
@DavidWestDNABrix
@DavidWestDNABrix 3 года назад
Glad to hear it! I’m sourcing anywhere I can find from - online, or local. eBay, shopgoodwill, FB marketplace etc.

How do you remove bitten pieces? Do you just inspect each piece while you sort, or do you do it when you catalog them
@DavidWestDNABrix
@DavidWestDNABrix 2 года назад
Whenever I catch them they get removed, because each piece is handled at least three times, it is almost 100% fail safe to get them all out.

Great video, appreciate it! You are using the same method as I do. I was just wondering if there is any other way to sort and upload used parts quicker. I can upload like 100€-120€ worth lego parts on average a day with this method. My goal is to sell lego as full time job, therefore I have to find a more efficient/faster way to upload used parts. 250/300€ worth lego a day would be nice 😁

instead of retyping the draw number, could you not just copy it once, then past it every time?
@DavidWestDNABrix
@DavidWestDNABrix 2 года назад
Yes you could. I need to make an updated video to this as a lot of my process has changed now that I use brickstore. You can highlight multiple lots and type the drawer number once.

Why are Lego sellers so generous with their trade secrets? I see so many bricklink people make these amazing tutorials about their business practices, isn't that somehow shooting at your own feet?
@DavidWestDNABrix
@DavidWestDNABrix 2 года назад
Some could see it that way. I think there’s a general zeitgeist among sellers that the more positive experiences buyers have on Bricklink, the better off sellers are in the long term. Just my way of thinking of it.

@@DavidWestDNABrix Well, I thank you for your efforts, I really enjoy watching it, without any background in lego myself. It's just interesting in some way to me to see this market evolve. Good luck to you, young man, with your work ethic you can make it in whatever career you chose.

I literally just got recommended this video when I literally just bought a lego lot and this video is helping me a lot! Maybe this is a bit personal, but how much do you gain by doing this?
