God, this is much harder than any other genre IMO, you need to make the bass sound good without following the chords and fill the gaps with tons of sounds. I've tried to mimic Stessie for how many times I don't even know and the more I tried the more I know this man is from another planet
Here's a little tip: when doing the samples and drums, let us here the development of the track, like you started with the melody, then chords, but continue it with bass, drums, and samples. It's great tho, so a like, sub and notification Bell is all coming ur way

This is the simple way of doing it I guess, also I was improvising with this track, I spend a lot of time on my real tracks and might even go into more detail in future videos
