Lots of black Harleys out there, that's for sure. I wouldn't be surprised if HD starts producing this color or something very similar in their lineup soon. The first year of the Pan Am they used orange, but it was lighter tone.

Harley never should have shipped with that back end. They made a great looking bike except that bit.

Agreed. It's a different feel and sometimes just comes down to preference. We're still on the hunt for some rear controls...so, talk about sports bike feel.

Thanks for the kind remarks! We agree, there seems to be a lack of exhausts that fit the bike's lines well and the right aesthetics. We have been doing lots of research on what type exhaust would be the best fit, while giving it a more aggressive sound note. As brilliant as these new Revolution Max engines are, they are certainly not the traditional Harley noise we're used to. The Jekyll and Hyde is one of our favorites on the market right now, but the price is a tough pill to swallow. Whatever exhaust we end up choosing, we'll certainly be filming the experience. Let us know what exhaust you end up choosing. The heated grips work well and get nice and toasty. No complaints and worth every penny on those cold morning rides. Comes with 3 setting levels and I've rarely used the highest setting.

Hi, thanks! We have a local friend who does paint work and did us a favor. However, we also got the paint job ceramic coated. That cost $500 USD.

Absolutely agree with you. If you can add one to your garage without giving up the others, that would be the perfect scenario. We have had a blast riding this bike. Definitely a different sound than the traditional bikes, but tons of acceleration fun.

I personally think that would look good, but not too sure Chad's interested in changing up the handle bars right now.

It's in the works. We actually have already modified the tail end, but not really happy with the outcome. We have another one on order.

Agreed. We've doing some research and would really like to improve on the exhaust.

You will never get this engine to sound right. The engines stroke is too short to produce the low toned rumble we all want to hear. It would be interesting to hear what a custom stroker Sportster S engine would sound like?

@@briansearles4473 It's disappointing because I want to love the RevMax bikes, ridden them all, but I just can't get over the sound

@@stevem4783 Actually I like most things about the RevMax bikes except the horrible sound. Also think the gas tank of the Sportster S is a joke. I am sure H D could install a spout to the tank so you don't have to mess about with the seat every time you fill-up? I'll wait another year or two to see what changes are made to the bike.

@@briansearles4473 You mean the Nightster? The S's filler is on top, the Nightster's is under the seat.

We have a new exhaust now. We're planning a video to discuss it, but not an install video.

Hate to hear that. Chad had some issues with the key fob module initially, but we were able to work that out.

Chad's getting close to having had the Sportster S for a year and we felt the same way. Kinda' frustrating when your eager to make the bike your own. However, lately we are starting to see a little more variety pop up. Still a long way from the aftermarket that supports other HD models.

It's not for everyone.
