one thing i'll add is for small maps, you can take middle if you're a support. biggest example is if you're priestess in red church. priestess portal supports in the church goes crazy if gone right. dancer also could work in church and arms too there's also niche ones, like lakeside merchant sometimes taking front gate to set up a catapult to big boat. hope this helps ❤
10 months later u are saving lives... i got legendary in mammoth rank, i luckily chose the right spot (as i was the rescuer), i chose the weakest spot for kiters and i ended up 5 cipher kiting !!!

Just wanna add. Strong contains can spawn anywhere (even in open areas) that has a cipher near them when the game starts so they can decode immediately if the hunter doesn't chase them.
hiding at the other side of the stage at tent and gates are so good because hunters are too blind lmao. its not all about kiting its about hiding to waste hunter's time too
This video is me whenever i play hunter because i get so dumbfounded at seeing where the survs spawns and im like “where is ur game sense” like Merc going hospital in sacred heart and this prisoner went bottom corner and i just think “what tier am i in?” 😭

Im a rescuer main and i do choose middle unless kiter pick it first hshshs🥳 but sometimes there's a time i cant pick my main so gotta move role and still confused where to spawn!
@@B0R3DOM suree if u want to ^^ its custom 2v8 games held by the communities, u can find it sometimes in chat asking who wanna join, capture the flag = decode a specific cipher, protect the king = tarot but all surv protect one king (its mostly on Asia server unfortunately😭😭)
They should just remove this in Griffin altogether, it's just more convenient for the hunter and a huge disadvantage for raw kiters and decoders. I don't think hunters at that tier need such a help.
If there is no other rescuer on your team you take the rescuers spot, otherwise you’re just a kiter with tide. And ofc you dont need to take rescuer spot if a support wants to take it for their setup. Usually the most annoying first chase spawns on the rescuer spots, characters that can drag out their kite with just their items.
u need to see if the hunter is going to chase u, bc patient isn't so hard to chase. if there is a strong decoder on the map, the hunter will probably chase them instead of you, so you can take the rescuer spot. but dont forget some hunters can choose to chase you bc they know you have tide turner depending on the team composition, specially if it is a geisha, disciple or bloody queen.
spawning the weakest kiter in hospital discourages the hunter from chasing them, which should take precedence over having a support waiting there for the kiter because it’s most optimal for the other 3 survivors to be decoding during the first chase
