How to speed hack your Xiaomi pro 2 + 1S scooter - 20 MPH!

Working still today's date 19/10/21 This was done on the xiamoi pro 2 Reaches 32kmh which is 20mph Thanks for the vid mate tested the scooter straight away takes a bit of time to get to max speed, feels great

Just to confirm i bought my pro2 today from halfords and flashed it from here asap lol and it works tested and enjoyed thanks mate brilllll

I just did it on my pro 2 with the latest version it worked great. Main reason i did it because Xiaomi took off the cruise control with the last update and me someone who do 20 miles a day for work it was exhausting holding the accelerator trigger down. With this hack the cruise control is back now. Thanks a lot

Hey Josh, Great video! Just wanted to ask, is the firmware up to date and how did you go about creating it? The reason why I asked is because sometimes modded firmwares can quickly outdate.

So, after doing this it’s fun and it still works, got me to 18 mph no issue on more charge I was hitting 20. Issue is the app with disable and with that goes the ability to see your exact charge level even when charging or riding, after a day of exploring and shitting myself I found a fix, you have to delete the scooter off your app and pair them again and it works fine, if you want to remove the speed hack just redownload newest firmware from the app.

I just unboxed mine, installed newest firmware (didn't know that I should not install it). BUT this works, mine goes now 30-32kmh. so this thing works with newest firmware aswell! thank you very much!

Thanks mate. Worked for me for my pro 2 with the latest firmware. ( not my phone, only borrowed for this. I’ve got IOS) After: - -31km/h top speed i S mode -no KERS -can not connect with xiaomi app -it dosent show when you charging it ( shit myself for a sec) but its charging and you see when it charged a full bar. I definitely think it is still worth it 😉

Got mine a couple of days ago, updated to newest firmware, and then tried to install this. Works well. What I do notice though, is that with the latest original xiomi firmware, the scooter is MUCH MUCH smoother when accelerating! This firmware makes the throttle much more twitchy. It's more like just on/off, which I don't like at all. Room for improvement there!

I started doing it, using the link you provided, but then it came up with "your device is a pro2 and a firmware for m365 is loaded. If you continue you risk bricking your device." Are you sure that's the download for the pro2? Or should it be a different firmware download?

This worked easy and straightforward for me thank you ! Only downside is I have lost connection to the mi home app is that supposed to happen? I've also read about using the GONKA files how do these files differ possibly from the ones you have links to ? The guy said he used the GONKA files and has had no issues for over a year. Have you been riding your flashed scooter for some time without issues ?

Hey @josh jones. Thanks for the tutorial! I've got a Pro 2 and when I tried to load the software, I got an error that the software is for the M365 and not the Pro 2. The app says that this might brick my scooter. Do you perhaps have a specific software file for the Pro 2? Thanks!

How do you reset it and get it back to normal speed after doing the hack?

Are there any potential drawbacks to doing this to your scooter? Will it burn out the motor? Also, I have an iPhone and not an android. Is there something I can still do? I have the MI scooter pro 2

Hello, thank you for the video! Had no idea this was possible. I got my 1S a few days ago, and I followed the manual (like the fool I am) and updated the firmware. Now when I start the downg app and connect to the scooter, there is no CHECK button in the upper part in the middle. There is one button which I cannot push which says, CAMIBLE. What does that mean? I can access the tools to turn on the rear light and such, and check the battery, but no check button. I cannot connect to the scooter through the Xiaomi Mi Home App either anymore, the bluetooth sign turns on when I connect through the app, but says that it cannot connect. Did a hard reset on the scooter (barkes, throttle, power) and now I can add the scooter again through the Xiaomi app but cannot check the version in the DownG app. Excuse my long comment, and thank you for your time!

Will this affect the warranty on the scooter if u do the speed hack

hey josh is there a software you can recommend that lets you customise the speed you want the scooter at, personally 20 is too fast but 15 is a little on the slower side, what would you suggest?

This works great very quick but I have only one problem that since I done it my scooter doesn’t charge on the battery light is red but on the dashboard it doesn’t come up with the battery percentage? Any have Problems same as mine and fixes ?
