Great video and really helps. I havs a question, if in addition to my 5G router i also have a 5G wifi extender (that is connected to the router and extends the wifi), should my wifi router and my wifi repeater/ extender be on different channels as well so that they do not conflict?

I understand how to operate the Wi-Fi analyzer a lot better thanks to this video, but I just had a quick question, within the a mesh system if you're using a second router to extend Wi-Fi signal strength and you're using the Wi-Fi analyzer to see other people's Network channel and you're well away from interference as far as your neighbors channels go, wouldn't the signal in the a mesh system from one Wi-Fi router to the other in your network, wouldn't it interfere with each other as well? Probably a stupid question but I'm just asking to make sure

So the issue im having is, I can only set channels from 36-48 and 149-161 (not in between 48 and 149) and of course those areas are jam packed with overlapping signals. Why can't I set it to say 60, that has zero traffic? i'm on 5ghz wifi6 router trying to get my airlink signal as clear as possible

You have to log into your router user interface. Normally, you can get there by typing 192.168.1.1 depend on your IP scope.

Why wouldn't you use 5.2Ghz for everything since it appears to be less crowded/ plenty of channels? Is there an advantage in using 2.4Ghz or will some things only work on 2.4?

2.4 gets more range with WiFi while 5.2 loses range but greatly boosts your speed

Some devices don't have 5g wifi chips in them also, so having a duel network that has both 2.4 and 5.2 GHz can be helpful with older devices

@@stopitskiiiuuup4006 usually look at Your router find the ip and login by going to a browser and typing ip address or you can contact your isp say if you had xfinity and they'll give you the site to go to to access the wifi router settings and give you the username and password login
