ST Logan No and yes :) it will work but not 100 percent as its not a stand alone receiver. I recommend you get one of the quad receivers they have, they work the best.

On this FC that I showcase here there is no other 3.3v output than the one you have to solder on to, other FC cards may be different and have spektrum connectors built onto the FC itself, in that case you can just plug the recevier in. I also know that spektrum now has a quad specific receiver with telemtry that support 5v instead of 3.3volt, in that case you may use any 5 volt source you like.

well some of the fc have a spektrum port and then its just to plug in. but some don't and then you have to solder.

Hi, Im sorry I don't have any Naze32 rev6 boards at hand, but the principle is the same, you find a 3.3v port and connect to uart2 RX port and ground. I recommend the Spektrum racing satelite receiver as this receiver is designed as standalone reciver and I belive that the lemon one is not... hope this helps

Seems like you have not bound the receiver to the transmitter. You must do this first or through beta flight

No, The ESCs do not need to be connected to fc to set up the FC. If the receiver is going crazy there must be something other setting that you have missed under the configuration or setup tab.

FLYPiLOT how can I find out which UART I am connecting to? I have it hooked up to the SBUS /PPM pad right now, but it did the same thing when I plugged it into the spektrum sat connection.

It should say on the FC board or in the documentation for the FC board itself what UART that port is using. You have to make sure that in betaflight/cleanflight that you have "serial" selected o the right uart port.

It should enter bind mode automatically if it does not see any signal from your transmitter(ie if your transmitter is off) in 10 seconds, as far as I know

i cant get blink mode (bind mode) on my receiver after go to CLI and write set spektrum_sat_bind=9... after i plug usb, my receiver is only blink one and not blinkink like binding mode... can you help me.. im frustated.

I don't use Baseflight, try Betaflight, its much better..

Yes, signal goes to RX, make sure you have the right settings in betaflight under PORTS, and CONFIGURATION

Harry Stephens normal sat receivers are not ment to be used alone. Better to use Spektrum race receiver.

great question. there is actually three ways of doing that. 1. bind the satelite to your radio when its connected to a normal receiver. 2 the spektrum race satelite goes into bind mode automatically after 10 seconds when your radio is not on. 3. use a cli command in cleanflight called spektrum_sat_bind=9 or 5 depending on your satelite and radio. type save and then power cycle the flightcontroller with the usb and it should enter bind mode. hope this helps

All systems have problems with carbon frames, it does not matter if you have Frsky or spektrum, RF signal does not penetrate carbon fiber, you have to make sure your antenns are positioned well outside the carbon fiber or you will have problems.

Yes, but its not recommended as "normal" satellites are not standalone receivers..its recommended to use their dedicated quad receivers..

Thanks, ive not been able to get the sat working on its own, everything connected right, 3.3v, ground and the signal wire into ch4 but nothing and for no reason cleanflight stopped connecting it, nightmare, im wishing I bought a frsky TX now and module, its £200 but I hear frsky have a stronger signal and range, sounds like the way to go now. ah wait just realised im confusing your video with another, some other guy said the signal wire MUST go to ch4, but you say RX, I will try your way. The odd thing is the frsky RX that came with the quad has a single wire going to both ch4 and ch5, do you know why that would be?

Well, with that FC you would nned to do some soldering anyway as there is only pinouts on that, and no connectors. So no, that FC is not plug and play in that sense. To your second question, yes any kit will most likely be able to use those components.
