To me, Phuket was a mix bag. Whilst I enjoyed the day trips to Koh Phi Phi, James Bond Island, some of the tourist places like Big Buddha, Karon Viewpoint, Wat Chalong, Elephant Sanctuary, Promthep Caps - and some beaches like Surin, Kata, and Kamla - but I hated Patong - it ruined it for me. And I didn't enjoy Phuket Town much either

At dusk, Bangla Road (Thanon Bangla), the street with the most atmosphere in Patong Phuket, is a must. Full of bars, imitation markets and night shows, Phuket's sex capital. A street so famous that it appears in all the documentaries about Thailand.

I went Phucket last year, and I thought it was just going to be a place to chill by the beach with some cool nightlife, a nice break between Chang Mai and Bangkok, but I was surprised how pretty the island was. The Old Town was lovely and Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha were really cool.

This is amazing! Nature here is amazing, I think that this sea is the best sea you could find... I am going to explore this more definitely. Phuket town looks very nice and full of people. I will visit the temple for sure. The nightlife also looks amazing, full of bars and nightclubs. Patong Beach is so nice! Jet skiing there looks like fun! The food looks amazing also, I am a fan of food like this.
