Good idea to sit on it for 12 months i think. I would pay my debts, buy a new house and withdraw 365k cash for the year (1,000 a day). Shop around the big banks and find the best 12 month term deposit whilst i get my head around what to do next. How to spend 100 million: 1: Buy a normal house that is enough for you if you live alone buy a small house if you have gf just a buy a normal house that is enough for 2 people 2: buy a normal car that doesn’t cost more than 30 thousand dollars 3: invest the money and keep using for normal day example, food, movies, games travel etc
Sorry for late reply, just found this. I agree with investing, but remeber you have 100 million. After taxes, your playing with ~65 million dollars. You can spend more money on yourself and family, just no one else. I would give 5 mil to my parents so they could buy our house, invest, and retire. I would spend 30 million dollars building a gated community of some sort, and that would take a couple of years, but it would allow me to have a 1mil+ yearly income. I would then invest 10 million into some pre built apartment complexes to cover my cash flow for the moment. I would invest 10 mil into starting my own business, and the rest would go towards buying a house in beverly hills, a few exotic cars, some other stuff, and by then, i would have blown through my money, but would have 1 source of income out the gate that could cover my lavish expenses
I would buy a small suv for my family, pay off debt, find a 6bd 4bth home with a three car garage and a man cave for my boyfriend, then spend the rest on experience
I'd spend 100k to get the best PC ever, Xbox One, PS4, WiiU, hololens, 3 dual monitors a huge flatscreen with the most expensive gaming keyboard and mouse then live in a 100k-200k house with a pool and just game and then give some to family and get a boat and other stuff, put 30mil in the bank, then donate the rest to charity.

So much pain and suffering in the world. I’d give myself 100-150k salary for the next 50 years, which means I’d have only spent 5-7.5 million + pay off my debt and help family and friends would probably take me to 10-15 million. I’d then work on the other 90 million or so having the biggest impact possible helping humanity and nature flourish. Conservation, ending poverty, education, soooo much could be done with that money. Diamonds, yachts, fancy hotels are meaningless. Not to mention, that yacht looked like it had the same couches and beds you’d find in a 2 star motel 😬 If anything, my guilty pleasure / splurge would be eating amazing food and travelling nice places but nothing flashy really impresses me that much. Gold leafy and truffle is so overrated.

Well technically you wouldn't have $0, but you would have lost a ton of money. For example you can only sell those mansions for $50,000,000 quicksale, whatever money is owed gets taken from that, for example property tax. Let's say you owed $10,000,000 between loans, taxes, utilities. They would take $10,000,000 from your $50,000,000, and you'd be left with $40,000,000. Still a terrible way to spend your money, but you wouldn't quite be left with $0.

Logan Bright Not really.....we get taxed but not all states in the US make u pay that much in tax when u win. In my state of Florida the tax is only 30%. So if i win a 500 million dollar lottery, i will still be taking home 350 million of that. So that really doesnt change what i said earlier.
