I can't tell you how much I appreciate this video. I have lived in Burlington for 30+ years and I am so ashamed and embarrassed that it has taken a beautiful young lady from Toronto to tell me about Burlington and the things that I did not know about the city in which I live. I have obviously been stuck in a rut and your video has given me a motivation to relearn my city and go out and reexplore. I eagerly look forward your other videos to see what I did not know about cities/villages in this area with which I thought I was familiar. Thank you again.

The struggle is real! I was shooting a Québec City vlog yesterday. Started around 10am and cane back home at about 7pm. I was completely drained and went straight to bed, even leaving my bike where i had parked it in front of the coffee shop. I didn't have the energy to pick it up and cycle it home. I think a lot of people don't realize how much physical and mental energy goes into making videos! Thoroughly enjoyed it and Burlington sounds great, i love that it's easily accessible by Go train ❤

Next time you trip to Burlington, consider coming during the international Sound of Music Festival when they turn the entire downtown and Spencer park area into a 2 week music, food and arts festival. Rather than just a usual summer day.

It used to be even better in the early 90s. It was called battle of the bands. Every weekend at the old gazebo ,which you probably don't remember, a different band would play. Rainbow butt monkeys, trunk, goohammer, idle sons etc.... all the top bands used to battle. Every weekend they would vote for who was the best. At the end of the summer they would hold a one on one kinda style battle between the best of the best at central arena. It was a different city...the greatest time to be in Burlington. You don't see this anymore. They've destroyed this city. Back during prohibition Burlington used to be the hub for music. That shitty snobby restaurant on the water called Spencer's used to be home to an amphitheater where all the greats used to play. Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Frank Sinatra etc all used to play here. I wish this city would put its money on its heritage like it claims to care about instead of building these stupid towers of shade and wind to please its funding fathers. But hey if that's what your into. I'm just glad I got to grow up seeing Burlington the way I did. You have no idea. But thanks for contributing to its destruction everyone! It's not your fault. It's "progress"..Our city is no longer

I’ve lived in Burlington for almost 20 years. I go to village cigar and barber shop all the time in village square. Most of my wardrobe is from their shop lol.
