Is it weird that I played this game when I was 11 years old and I am now 21 and playing it again cus back then I had to ask my mum and dad for crowns and now I can finally play without asking them lol
fun fact: if you ask someone to port you to the arcanum to qyburn you can bypass all the astral spell quests. i did it for colossal and other spells too lol
@@Oblivionze there are certain cards that are quest blocked for me too now. i think it may have been patched but before i got colossal without having to defeat anything so
@@basicpenguin3844 I think you still need to do that quest. for zafaria I skipped it but apparently it wouldn't let me for azteca, and yes, the spell is literally impossible to do rn
Reshuffle is extremely useful if you play with a small deck it's highly recommended for small decks otherwise you should risk decking out halfway through boss fights
He sums everything up at around 13:48, just wanted to save that timestamp for myself, maybe others will find it useful as well Danke sehr umm I mean thank you very much, this vid helped! :>
Dream for players who play for long hull like death, life, or maybe even ice dispels can be useful to destroy someone bold enough to use a shadow transformation and can counter plays in general. 80 set shields are really not needed unless you have training points laying around and you really hate a particular school.
@@clubstep8244 Definitely also worth on death. Every school should have elemental blade because you'll almost always be buffing a storm in PvE if you're in an organized team
@@veemon9009 Still gotta farm gear on myth, and you're pretty useless if you can't blade a storm. I do mostly pvp and dungeons with organized groups, and all of my characters get elemental blade and mass storm prism (I have all maxes except balance). If you literally only solo then I guess, but it just makes the game easier.
i tend to use reshuffle as a back up plan if one run out of cards in a fight your doomed and will have to flee it can also keep your deck smaller and more easy to handle
I mean, you can always buy the treasure cards. That's why most of us don't do it. They aren't pricey, that's just me saying that because I farm for gold at Olde Town Drains. Gaining 1700 every time I win.
I've been maining life for the past couple months and my #1 spell is empowerment, it is sooooooooooooooooo good if your a school like life or death; where 90% of your spells hit involve healing you or blading you, its nuts trust me oh! also with blades, your old +35 blade will work with the enhanced +45 blade, and if you get the sun spell from.. say, an amulet, both enhanced +45 will proc along with a +35, plus the 3 school blades, plus enhanced three school blades and so on! the moon attack spell that turns you into a bug works great with shadow creature spells and can be enhanced by blades too!
Feint is definitely hard to work with when you're in Storm but it's still pretty good. Personally wouldn't recommend trying to handle feint as a storm and using it a lot until you can figure out how to combat the thirty percent trap it puts on you. Great video though! Pretty helpful!
I just started playing the game again and never reached all that cool stuff because I was level 50 so I started over and in 3 days I’m level 44 lol can’t wait to get to the cool spells 😂
a note about the traps, that i learned by accident: if you are ice/fire/death/life, they are even better because you can do the trio trap, prism, then the trio trap again, and it is a free trap. its good esspecially for life which does not have much damage
When you say for PvE purposes, I have to argue that you don’t get tower shield first as you should wait until you get level 26, get feint, and then think about spending your other training points, I don’t know, but that’s what I’ve always done.
I did that for my death, myth and life but for my fire and storm having the shield first was nice you do enough damage that you do not need it till then
Getting tower shield at 16 was always a PvP move, in reality you don’t need tower shield early if you have good resistance and good understanding of what you’re doing and not just throwing your pips around. But in the end tower shield will save you while you’re looking for things and can’t draw what you need. Imo I’d train tower first and just buy tc monstrous if you can, you’ll burn right through without needing to really needing feint with those bosses at low. Now if you don’t have good resistance and using only random gear which I have seen, tower shield is definitely a must. It’s definitely just play style preference
I just bought back all my training points and was struggling to what training points to get so this video was very helpful (and also - fire wizard too)
I have a max life and my recommendation is to not get mend or renew. Use cycle of life instead. Only uses one point instead of two, and it gives extra power pip percentage if you need it. The 10% incoming death damage really doesn't matter.
Stun Block and Reshuffle are imo two spells which are a Must, regardless of School. Conviction is nice and all, but its not 100% stun block, and some bosses love stunning like crazy. The sun damage enchantments are also an absolute Must. 100%. Star auras are also very very useful. Then we got Feint, and Tower Shield. Then of course the appropriate blades+traps from Niles the balance tree. If you want healing, we got Satyr, especially if you have a life mastery amulet.
I feel as though its worth mentioning that Sun and Star Spells should be trained with the intent to compensate for your class' weaknesses. So for example: Diviners already deal massive damage but have low health and accuracy, so it makes sense to invest in Accuracy Sun Spells like Keen Eyes and Sniper. By contrast, Thaumaturges have the highest base health and accuracy but deal low damage, so they should get the damage empowering spells like strong and Giant. Also, I think Cloak can be useful from time to time. Especially for Sorcerers that have the most charms and wards than any other school.
Much more useful to get school set shields and dispels rather than stuff like elemental trap and feint especially if your a fire and storm as they don’t need those cards.
I agree with everything but the spell he was saying is for school of life and the satyr spell I think those are really good spells to train no matter what school you are and reshuffle
I would train for the 70 death ward. Since you dont have a natural death shield being fire. Sometimes having just tower is not enough. I would bypass amplify since azteca spells are better. Stunblock is a must too, even in pve.
@@josepht.994 it gives me an advantage of 50% extra damage to the opponent while i receive some 20% damage guess.... if i cast it before hand and build up my shields it while i also build up my blades then i can KO the opponent or weaken it before it starts using high pip spells. My want also has some damage to it about 20% which adds up to 70% damage.
This is something I've been wondering. I have a balance wizard and he knows both Helping Hands and Availing Hands as well as Satyr (and Sprite since it was required). Do you think getting Primordial and Radical are a good option? Been debating on getting those as I do run a support deck which mostly contains traps, blades, and heals, but not sure if those are worth my time.
Could someone explain to me, why towershield is important? From Your own school You will get a dual 70% shield and a shield against Your own school. And by learning death You will end up with the life and myth shield. Will so that would be 3-5 shields specific to schools, that are more effective than Tower shield. And going to Sabrina Greenstar to buy the remaining 1-3 shields costs less training points, also those shields save You from 80% of the damage. Are balance bosses the reason to get tower shield?
I am so annoyed. Three weeks ago I returned from a one week hiatus and got straight into questing not realizing this was free. When my wizard was a lower level I was foolish enough to waste points into a secondary school and today I just maxed up my wizard. I wish I had not wasted those 6 points and want them back, but foolishly missed this chance. Does this chance happen often cause I have no plans of spending over 10,000 credits to get points back.
is it not worth getting/going up to satyr if you're say, fire/myth/storm? Cuz surely Power link+pet heals aren't enough? IK they all get a heal but fire's doesn't seem good, storm is rng but great if it does get the 1k but also rather pretty late into the game, and myth's is behind a paywall until KI decides to make it a craftable. Unless pets are just that good at healing
Uh I am making a storm soon and I’m still thinking if I should start off going for tower shield or feint. Which one do you think I should get first?? (Gonna quest with life friend)
He legit mentioned the Arcanum before training into any spells and again in Krokotopia. He said in the vid that he showed off the locations in case you don't have access to the Arcanum
@@Balila_balbal_loki Cleanse Ward? Wand Hit? Much better options in my opinion as they use no pips and also the wand hit may summon a maycast if you have a maycast wand.
