@@A.R.American1 well, I did it a few times successfully (5 reps average); I find it easier with the hammer pre-cocked--less tension on the action. But hey, it's definitely a start, right? I'm pretty happy with it so far, just need to keep working on it. I have heard a saying before (regarding firearm training): "Don't just do it til you get it right--do it til you CAN'T get it WRONG." 👍

@@Hothenrik out of the box my mares leg would only work with fmj round nose dummy rounds. I since modified it and it feeds most ammo.

I discussed that in 1 or 2 videos. The 20 inch rifle is hard to spin cock. I am 6'2" tall with really long arms and it's tough. A 16 inch barrel is fairly easy once I learned. The mares leg is the easiest being short even a small person can do it. The henry is very similar to a marlin and can be done with no modification to the gun. I just had to use fmj bullets seated slightly long. The winchester style top eject rifles I had to modify the gun. I will do a video on it this week tho for you.
