I'm honestly so stumped with a recent purchase. I bought some battle styles packs and Astral radiance. The cards do seem flimsy. But I've done the shine a light test. Not any difference between real ones. I've done rip tests. They have code cards too ! But seems like 1 card out of every pack is flimsy.

AH thank you so much for this video. I got over excited about cheap cards and ended up being a lot from a dollar store cause come on you can't beat a dollar. After opening a few packs something felt off. I even asked my older brother and he was like nah it's fine. But like the crazy thing was I got not one energy card from these packs nor code cards. Powerful card with hp way above 100. Some cards would be up side down. So now I'm just sad. Glad it was only 10 bucks but still a blow. Thanks for opening my eyes before I added these cards to my box.

Hey, i just finished my hidden fates collection today. And decided to go through a light test (used samsung s8+ light in a dark room) on all the SV FA cards. And saw some got more light through than others. Do anyone else experienced the same thing? They all look genuine(texture, size, back, front, letters and so on). So i dont know if the light test is liable.

i was suspecting a booster pack that I got which had a loose packaging (very similar to the first team up pack that you showed). but it did come with a valid code card (I redeemed it) and it has the same "smell" of real booster packs. Does it sound legit to you? thanks! : D

Had anyone see the age Print one is On the seal of the pack and one is below the the seal of the pack? Age location can be a Red Flag. Always look for age group Print.

I'm new at pokemon card and in my Country we didn't have walmart/target etc to buy pokemon card in person, you see, there is a promo going on in my Country a chocolate product with Pokemon surprises (can get mini figure/mini pokeball/or pokemon card sun and moon edition) when you ripped the energy card there is a black line right? and when I ripped the promo (from chocolate) card it had blue line instead... the cars itself feel nice to touch and thick. what do you think? I love pokemon and because of this promo I had this little voices in my heart I want to start Collecting them especially Eievui and its evolutions
