Hi Ma. Lei, what country dud you buy it from? The black thingy above the lock. The origjnal one should be not be wide and it should be soft like you can bend itr or fold it. If it's really hard you might want to take it to the stire and ask me. Send me a picture on my Instagram bihadamarissa. So I can see it. I'm not an expert but I can compare it to my original.

The real ones have different leather suppliers. So comparing two authentic ones made in different factories will be completely different. Theres over 50 different factories for fakes and some uses the same suppliers as the real ones. This fake or real comparison is meaningless.
Not really, I have a faux pochette metis reverse I just got off Amazon today ($99) and it is a dead ringer for her real pochette metis. In fact, when she asked her viewers which was the real/fake I pointed at her real one because it was a dead ringer for my FAUX metis. Now I have 7 real LVs totes/handbags (3 in mono so I can compare the canvas). All the things she pointed out as aspects of a faux, the makers of my bag did NOT do. I do have the lighter more carmel-goldish color thread (her faux has brown thread), wider even stitching (her faux has tight stitching), the glaze on mine is black(not a lighter brown like her faux), the black straps above have the lines like the real one (her faux does not). My faux strap is nice with no kinks and the fleur de le going down in the middle with maybe a CM off the exact middle with stitching through the tips on ea side just like the real one. HOWEVER, the hardware on my faux looks very good, but I'm so used to LV materials that I can tell the difference in the weight, strength and feel. Quite frankly I am taken by surprise how good this LV dupe that just arrive is. Shocked really. I'm glad because the LV PMetis is sold out on LV USA website in both the mono and reverse. To me it is a trendy style so I will only be using it this summer/fall and then retire it. Hey, at least I don't have to fork out $2200 (preloved) for it. When I add my real LV wallet, LV card holder, LV key chain I doubt anyone just looking at it could tell it is a dupe. Let's just see how long the hardware can hold up.
Thanks for posting. It's good to know what to look for if you're looking to buy an authentic one. If you have to put a replica under this kind of scrutiny, man that's a great replica. Who's going to inspect it when you're wearing it? Of course, don't go to an LV store and parade it. It makes you think if paying $2530 is worth it. Just saying...
Unless you're paying full price for a fake that you are fooled into buying.. they look pretty similar. I bought a metis in the reg monogram( fake) and it has red trim. And that's a dead givaway. I'm going to tie a replica scarf around it. And carry it when I travel. In case it gets stolen

Wow interesting, i have a luxury bag collection but i have two fake bags this bag being one of the fake bags bc i didn't want to spend thousands on canvas, all of my authentic bags are leather. I must have gotten lucky bc my rep pochette metis reverse isn't like this fake one its more like your authentic when it comes to the stitching on the top handle and lines, the size of the clasp, and the strap is 100% kink free and the flowers line up. I didn't buy a cheap replica though. To be honest, i baby my authentic bags for several reasons. With my fake pochette metis i don't have to worry about it as much. At the time of purchase, you couldn't buy a new pochette metis online bc they were sold out everywhere, that's the main reason & the canvas i went the super fake route... plus i have a good amount of authentic bags. I use this one for everyday so i don't worry about it.
This is a great ad for replica bags! Such minute differences and about 1/10th of the price! Makes it hard to justify the price of authentic. And this does not even look like the best replica bags I have seen!
I know this sounds crazy but my replica is better than my authentic. My authentic has terrible glazing and very crooked while my replica was flawless. 😅
