I’ve got a Wagner airless, used it for a few jobs now, and really impressed. the only issue I have is that even allowing 30% extra for spraying I still seem to need a lot of paint compared to a roller. I’m about to paint a ceiling, and the calculation looks to be generous at 5ltrs - I can’t help but feel after priming, getting the pressure set I might have enough paint for a pass before it start sucking air and I need another tin (even with 2ltrs in the bottom of a tin it seems to gulp air easily, which stops the whole system.). any thoughts?

Do you wait for the paint to dry before spraying the cross hatch?
