Nice setup, but you definitely don’t need a setup like this to get started. I started out with a $2300 pressure washer kit and jammed everything into the back of an SUV. Over time, I bought a trailer, hose reels, water tanks, and built a soft wash system. You’ll realize pretty quickly what you should prioritize adding to your setup once you start taking on jobs. Customers will ask for services that you may not have the equipment for. If you front the cost, the job the new gear allows you to take will often pay it off. Great video and good insight into the industry.
I'm considering doing this in Canada it would be PT and seasonal, but I'm with this guy I'm burnt out and would like to try something on the side, aiming to do small commercial stuff, basic entranceways, do you think a 3.5gpm machine and surface cleaner is enough?
Breaking it down, $100,000 in one month would mean he'd have to be charging $3,300 per day every single day in 30 days. I seriously doubt he's getting that type of job every single day, especially when he stated he charges driveways starting at $175. And probably not working every single day of the month. Since he has employees, he's not making that much. He did not share what he pays out for wages, insurance, workers comp, etc.
@@connerison3229 Not with just one small trailer like that one. And not without many employees and a lot more equipment. You can make decent money with your own trailer and doing it yourself but even the big companies aren't making $100,000 a month.
@@geoffreybarr5395 Yeah I am sure he does too. But that means he's paying multiple employees to run the other equipment. He is not making $100,00 a month just by himself. And I seriously doubt he's working 30 days a month.
Has anyone noticed that everyone on RU-vid makes a million dollars a year. If you believe that then no need to worry about the economy. Everything is just fine
As an owner-operator, the hardest part is landing the job. However, you can make much more than the average corporate worker...Bringing in 250k a year from a single truck/trailer is not unheard of.
