Blogging has given me such amazing opportunities such as now being able to earn an income from freelance beauty writing and working with brands such as Clarins and L'Oreal. So I'd say to anyone who is nervous to begin - don't be! You just never know where it will lead to! 😀💖

Websites and blogging are my creative outlet. Thank you for the tips. My number one tip would be to just do it. It is very scary at first but the fastest way to get over your fears is to just take action. I love your idea of using different social media platforms such as instagram. Thank you again.

Any tips for not caring what people think? I really want to start a blog but I'm so worried about my friends/family, and even people from school will think (I left sixth form 3 years ago!) I know I shouldn't care but I'd feel really embarrassed if someone asked me about it in person, even though its something I really want to do! Thankyou! x
When I began I used to share EVERY post on Facebook (why? I have no idea haha) but literally wanted anyone to read it! I now look back and feel embarrassed as I always wonder think people probably thought it was annoying- but I think you just have to do it! Try not to worry about what people think (I know it's easier said than done) but at the end of the day as long as you're happy and doing something you love nobody else should matter! xx
this is the very reason why i didn't start a youtube channel for like 7 years. if only i started in 2008 when i really wanted to make one, or even just 2013 (when i started considering it again), who knows, maybe i would be famous by now bahahaha. but anyway, when i started my channel, people were actually MUCH more supportive than i thought. nevertheless, just do it! you will only regret not doing things x
Love this video! I finally started my blog in December last year, after years + years of worrying, thinking no one would read it. One of the few negatives I've found since starting it, is pressure to post very regularly. I work in Fashion which means LONG hours, and rarely have the energy to blog when I get home. The longer I leave it the more pressure I feel to get content out, which makes it harder to do when I finally sit down to write! This video has definitely made me feel much better about it, so thankyou! Laura x | lorves.com

Great video Olivia, couldn't agree more. Its SO important to Blog about your passion, because then it will be impossible to give up. Personally I use Blue Host with WordPress as my site builder...and of coarse Yoast SEO Premium to help with SEO and Readability checks.
I would like to add that if you start something like a blog or vlog, committing and focusing on the project will determine your success (or failure) Focus is so important.

Useful tips! I've been using WordPress for almost 3 years and you don't need to know or possess some sort of HTML or coding skill to create a great design. All you have to do is choose a drag and drop theme or use a page builder and customize all the text and images. That's it.

Loved the new video Olivia! Thank you. How do you come up with your photo backdrop inspirations? I find a subject to write about and can think of the entire post, but I seem to have trouble finding a location to take the photos that fits the subject. Do you have any tips?
Judy Webber; hosting means that you need a company which can host or get your website on the internet. They actually look after you. That is why they ask a fee. A very good one is hostgator as they are one of the most widely used. I would use them. Good thing is that hosting companies are not as expensive as they could be for the services they offer.
I'm hoping to start a blog and this was so useful. Please do more videos like this. One question, if I started out on Blogger could I then move to another platform as I became more experienced? Thank you x

Did you make it public with only one post or did you write a bunch of posts and then make it public so visitors had more content to read when they looked at the site for the first time?
