Dear Ratko, I got into this business quite by accident. it was a supplement to the household budget. working over time, I realized that this is what interests me in the future. then I come up with the idea to sign up for some of the apps for transferring puns from the airport to the city and vice versa. even though it was a low quality car I did my best to be as professional as possible. clean car, safe driving, friendly, as well as a presentation of the city if the client is interested. based on dedication and hard work, I now have the opportunity to buy another car, of higher quality and therefore better service, but also at a higher price. Thank you for every video and every advice.👍
Hi Mladen, remember, you don’t need the latest model or brand new vehicle . All you need is clean and reliable car and pro mentality towards the people you drive. You can always get away with it . Thanks for watching
Hey Ratko, great videos you have here, subscribed to your channel. I want to go into this business as chauffeur driver here in Adelaide but not sure yet what would be the best way to go as I own Rav4 hybrid. Is this good vehicle to start up? Hvala
I would suggest the following: Work for a chauffeur company to get experience for 6 plus months. Ask questions. Don't tell them you want to start your own business or you won't be hired or can be fired. Tell your friends and family you are starting your own business. Business contact cards with times of operation and booking options. Approach pubs, hotels, doctors surgeries, etc. for extra business, leave cards or flyers. Post flyers on shopping notice boards. Register with Uber, taxis companies offer that ride share. There are other options, but the above are good starters. After awhile stop the business cards, flyers etc and let word of mouth take over. Up to you if you still want to do them. You need to be dedicated or it won't work. always be clean and smell nice and not overpowering. Go the extra mile.
I'm so glad I stumbled upon your You tube channel... I drove charter buses for 10 years and I love luxury cars. I decide just yesterday to step out on faith and start with my current vehicle and boom I find you thank you so much for sharing this info I am so excited to do this now.
Great suggestions, but before you get to involved check your local DOT/ MC and for hire rules and regs. Insurance is quite expensive, bonds, and some states require Authority to operate from the DMV. It can be rewarding, but insurance can be a deal breaker 1.5 million for under 14 passengers and 5 million for over. Any driver over 14 passengers must get a CDL and DOT physical, Its not for everyone.. Good luck and stay legal
Thank you Bethel .In my opinion the black colour is the King when it comes to corporate events . Than also white is widely used too for any occasion . These are my two main go-to colour choices for a limo service
@bethelbeukes5046 Depending on what type of clients you want. Black cars are okay, but they show the dirt and scratches. Night time they are too dark and so on.
Hi Ray, thank for the video. Excellent information. what’s the yearly potential income range in both scenarios of driving for Limo company and running own limo business? A detail video would be great.
You should be able to make at least a living out of it,if not than I guess you need to look for a different limo company.Tips are bonus. While running your own show is limitless depends on your skills .I made a video about the earnings, check it it might give you some idea. Thanks for watching
Hi mate, I based in perth, WA I have got 5 luxurious cars, 3 Mercedes vianos, a Range Rover and a sedan. I have got plenty of vehicles but I don’t know how to get the contact from different companies like hotels, corporate or from mining. Can you please tell me something what should I do to get these. Thanks in advance
My services are mainly based on an old clientele base, followed constantly by word of mouth recommendations Other than that ,if there is no one really to recommend my services, there are several strategies that I would employ to find clients and establish connections with hotels and corporations like networking, strong online presence (preferably with video) or direct sales approach which is my favourite: I would personally visit hotels, corporations, and executive offices to introduce myself and my services. (just dress professionally and speak confident how your service can add value to their business).I know it could take time but building and maintaining relationships is crucial in the chauffeur business in my opinion.Good luck
In Australia, a "limo plate" is not required. Instead, you need a "T" condition on your driver's license, indicating transportation, and registration with the Point to Point Transport Commissioner
Sadly at least in pgh pa car/corporate sedan service to and from airport is dead a once Thriving buisness here but thanks to Uber and now covid the buisness travelers just are not Traveling often enough
When I compare Uber,(which is “car on demand service”) with a Private Chauffeur, which is highly personalised service, I will always see these two as clearly two different markets . Is it more difficult now days for the Chauffeurs than in the past ?Definitely, and that’s a whole another debate . Thank you for the insightful comment though !Ray
Hi thank you for the video. Is it a good idea to start a platform/online portal selling chauffeur service? I plan to start business to business first. Would love your thoughts.
Hello Ratko So great to watch your video, I have point to point authorisation and have Lexus RX350. I want to join someone to start the work. Do you share work with someone. I mean I am happy to work for your company as contractor. Thanks
I'm in chicago and I'm interested to talk to you help me to get connected in chicago for customers and network of drivers and company's very interested to start soon...if you can...thank you....
Zeljko, make sure you watch all my videos and hopefully you’ll get a slice with value. Otherwise you can contact me direct on my email address on this channel
How do drivers get paid usually when they work for a limo company? Per hour or per trip? Also, what's the avarage salary per week working 40 hours? I just got my limo chauffeur license in Chicago. Just wondering it. Thank you!
@@mychauffeurlifeBMW don’t work as chauffeurs you need a Mercedes e class minimum no older then 5 years an S class is preferable and the v class is the best one to go for. You can get a Range Rover aswell black is usually the best colour too. You need to spend a minimum of 30k pounds for a chauffeur car to be respected.
Please don't hesitate to share your question here for everyone to read. However, if necessary, we can also arrange a one-on-one discussion as an alternative
My very first car in this business was a white Holden Caprice many many years ago and bought it for $35K. Since than lot of things changes here and there ,but that was the initial investment 😊
Thanks for this video… I am from the island of Jamaica and want to connect with potential travelers to the island. Please share my contact if you know anyone who will be traveling here and need safe reliable transfers to their destination.
