I am working on a spreadsheet that will help you to do calculations for materials and cost when making cement blocks here is a preview of the spreadsheet.. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-czv56lUjdUY.html
Please correct me if I'm wrong. If I hear you correctly, he said: "Every ton = ten wheelbarrows of sand." If a ton is 2,000 pounds, that would mean that each wheelbarrow of sand weighs 200 pounds. "From a ton of sand, you can produce concrete 70 blocks." So mathematically, 2,000 pounds of sand, producing 70 blocks, means each block will use 28.57 pounds of sand to produce. You also said, "With one bag of cement powder and five wheelbarrows of sand, you can make 35 blocks." so "2 bags of cement, will give you 10 wheelbarrows of concrete and can produce 70 blocks." Formula: 2 bags cement + 10 wheelbarrows of sand = 70 blocks. So when you go to buy your material (sand, cement powder) so for 100 tons (of material), you multiply by 2 to get the number of block. (100 tons x 2 = 200 blocks) (I think that is what he said.) "Client request 3,000 blocks, divide by 3,000 by 35 to get the number of bags of cement powder that is needed." 3,000 blocks / 35 = 85.75 bags of cement powder. Then divide the number of bags by 2 to get the tonnage needed." 85.78 bags / 2 = 42.86 tons for the 3,000 blocks." 70 blocks = using ten wheelbarrows of sand for every ton he is collecting. (70 blocks = 10 wheelbarrows = 1 ton) .... 1 bag of cement lays 80 blocks. (1 bag of cement makes the mortar to lay 80 blocks. ) 3,000 blocks/80 blocks being laid gives you the number of bags of cement needed, which would be 37.5 bags of cement. Remember each bag of cement being used requires 5 wheelbarrows of sand. etc...
I am from Somalia and i live in Canada. I am moving back to Somalia to build my house. I found your video very informative. Easy to follow and understand. Please keep sharing your experience. Thank you. I appreciate your time and effort to help us understand. We Africans need to start sharing more like this to help one another. Have a great day.
I am a charter Quantity Surveyor from Nigeria. I stumbled on your video by chance and, I love the simple way you conveyed your information. Even the unlettered can understand you if he/she just calm down, and open their learning mode
This video is so motivating. I'm so glad I watched it the day I'm going to lease land for my brick business and as a quantity survey unemployed graduate you make everything so understandable 🔥
wow as civil technician i should do the same, Buy machines from China 15k in dollars($) then send it back home, Buy lands and start it Brother. it's so easy dont complicate it.
I am very grateful that I researched and found this video you are so humble for sharing this knowledge with us all. I am very much inspired. The Lord bless you.
Good to share your experience, but now you need to know in detail about different strength of blocks basing on laboratody tests, it is not general. Some projects needs more stronger blocks compared other. Also we do specify ratio for cement mortor for laying blocks. So here you need to specify basing on nature of the project
Tank you very much Mr I'm from a small village in south Africa is it possible for you to make a video on (1)how to import cement in bulk, (2)which semrnt companies are less cost. All I'm interested in at the moment is where to buy sement in bulk.
I think for you to import cement from outside South Africa you will face challenges. This is because South Africa manufacture cement so they wouldn't want you to buy from outside. The best option is to find the manufactures in South Africa and see if you can buy from them
Thanks you for your video boss...i wanna start this and am gathering all the info i can get...i was surprised when i heard chichewa since am watching it far from home i thought you are some other country
I am planning to do a detailed video on a white board to explain the formulas. So please don't forget to subscribe and press the notification bell so you do not miss it.
Very informative, Thank you very very much...If I may ask in terms of production capacity differences.... Option 1: On a single mould manual machine, how many blocks can be produced per day? Option 2: On a 6 Drop manual machine how many blocks can be produced on average per day?
It is a very good business because there is always a market. Construction is one of the activities that does survives a bad economy. People are always building.
Please can you help me know how many blocks will build a 3 bedrooms 2 toilets, a kitchen, dinning and sitting room. Second question how many bags of cement will be used to lay the blocks, pillars and lintos
Hi I'm from Kenya I like the video. My question is how much water should be added while mixing 5 wheelbarrows of quarry dust plus one bag of cement so as to make hollow blocks? And will the hollow blocks still be 35 in number?
Are you going yo be able to monitor thr process? If not rather buy the blocks than making yourself. You can also assign someone to make for you on site.
I the quarry dust hase aggregate in it we don't add any. But if it lacks it we fo 1 bag of cement + 3 wheelbarrows of quarry dust + 2 wheelbarrows of 10mm quarry stone.
Wow brother, you jumped around so much 😆 🤣 😂 I don't even know if I'm building a house anymore two bags of cement is a ton then one bag can lay 80 blocks then I can make 70 no no 35 blo... please slow down. Love you bro!
I am from Zambia and am about to start up my own block business but been trying to figure out how to calculate my profits and loses.. what mixture and what external factor to consider. If you could help me on this I would be very grateful
