When you section it out you can cut in whatever section you want and do that section!

I was wondering the same thing. I don’t get sectioning grids and the numbers. The symbols are on the canvas already unlike cross stitch. 🤷‍♀️

i only see it useful for the people on tiktok who let their viewers choose which section to do next. i cut sections just to keep the sticky part covered and clean.

if you dont have time to sit around for hours doing diamond paintings, sectioning it off is useful for pacing your time out. so you could just do 4 sections or whatever in one diamond sticking session. i personally would do it to help me not feel overwhelmed over the whole diamond painting. im sure it helps visualize progress as well. everyone is different and some like being more organized than others.

We need to have numbers in the sections because if the number says 21 then u have to look for a diamond packet that says 21 and stick it there! Hope this helps

There is more than 1 number showing under each section, still confused sorry.

@@lilyleee I think they are numbering the sections just to show how many little tiny squares there are. Some people like to take the whole diamond painting and section it off like this but each big square is the number. These squares in my opinion are way too tiny to feel any accomplishment

If you want to fall for each of those sections to be filled by the number you placed good luck with your confetti painting😂

Its so that you can see where the sticky part on the canvas starts and ends when u’re doing it part by part like she is doing… u cant really see it clearly if u keep the plastic cover on, so u replace the palstic with a paper like the one she’s using in this video

Because the plastic sucks? Haha! The paper is so much better all around.

you can do it with the original plastic cover, but it's easier to see on the paper.

I just peel the plastic down and then re-cover it when I'm done. If my hand starts sticking to part of the image, I put a piece of wax paper down on that spot

Yep I use 4 sections but just use the plastic cover and washi tape tve 4 sections what way do you do it ? Is there an easier way ? Thank you 😊

i lliterally just go one color at a time. once every "A" drill has been placed, i will move on to all the "B"s and so forth. and while doing that, i just expose one corner of the canvas at a time, recovering it when im done before moving on to the next corner. im careful to not put my dumb greasy hands on any exposed canvas and this works just fine for me
