The first min45 seconds in I felt at home. Raised out in the rural areas of nm but NEVER taught or shown this. A lot of my peers and classmates growing up had fathers and families that passed everything down. I'm looking to start my own legacy for my kids. Thanks for the time and info. Excited to hear this cast! 😊😅
Often I wrote many songs about the gorgeous creature s who roam the prairie lands. Then encountered My Hearts 💕 a Bitter Buffalo by Modest Mouse and it was all over
In Massachusetts? Have you looked into alternatives? I think that Highland cattle might be a better choice there. Very docile and they provide a tourist attraction as well.
Super cool to hear this guy talk, my family and I practice rotational grazing with our herd of 120 grass fed beefers. Obviously much smaller scale but really cool to hear someone else who does it. I think my parents when to the same class in 2017 😂
the problem with saying if it is not financially sustainable its not sustainable isnt taking into account how lopsided reality is right now. When it comes to raising "food" like beef or pork or veggies, it seems that people are still thinking about money and not about health. We have turned raising food into a commodity. Whoever can rise the most at the cheapest rate gets to stay in business. but at what cost? When the ground is being pumped full of chemicals, and the crops are sprayed with toxic chemicals, and our the diet of animals is not healthy for them or us in the long run I could care less how cheap you can raise it. The major problem is the sick unhealthy option has become the cheapest option and the healthy option has been priced out of the market. So ya we can eat cheaper food only to pay for it in health care costs at the end of our miserable decrepit life. Or we can just start raising food the right way and take the financial hit now...sorry I'm ranting
