I showed from 3.20- 7.30 to my GCSE fashion students who are embarking on their own design process producing one garment or textile product in response to a contextual challenge. Afterwards I instructed the class to produce a mood board that tells a story of the design opportunity they are responding to; AKA their brand.
These videos are always so informative. I definitely will be joining Patreon to take these classes. Thank you for always giving premium content. It must take a lot of time and effort.
this is what we do in design class in general and it works with any type of business you want to make. Many reasons my mind can't get on the cookie cutter trends.
While I don't think I'll ever make a fashion brand, I do enjoy the videos. I think this stuff gets stumbled into by other consumer focused companies sometimes, like video game companies, and when they fail to uphold the image they made, it does some real damage (Looking at you, Blizzard). If I ever start my own venture of any kind, I hope I remember to rewatch your stuff before I commit to any launches/advertising.
