You can definitely do this from home, a lot of people do. However, there are pros and cons. Because business, in general, is online, you've got to learn how the internet works and how current trends in Marketing work.
Well, that's the basic stuff. There is a whole lot more that goes into having a successful business. Marketing and developing your brand and building your audience I would say are even more important.

@@smileyyyyy1249 Good question, I would answer it this way. The floral industry and the business of flowers is a profession. It takes knowledge, expertise, horticultural knowledge, design knowledge and the list goes on. If you are going to be successful you've got to be good. The business of flowers is definitely not an easy business to get started in. Some actual technical training is very helpful, working for someone else for a while to get some experience is invaluable/Priceless. That kind of experience can help keep you out of hot water in the future.
I think if you register as a DBA and have a bank account under DBA you can start now and do the rest as you go. I have heard it is suggested to keep a financial journal and "meeting notes" of decisions and details as records to have proof of operations(typed/professional) and can help proof an intention of registering as llc in the near future. As of knowledge and experience it is really about seeking for the information about the work you want to produce and actually creating (buying flower/tools) to produce and practice the work. Business is like riding a bike practice =experience and pivot as obstacles appear. A business plan is mandatory but also keep in mind there are milestones and now should be about knowledge. Have a calendar with intended arrangements and flowers/skills to learn your first year to secure future production operation instructions and know how to future order fillers while you keep investing in yourself/business as your first year business plan because making 400k in the first year might be unattainable without know how.that is best for 3-5 year biz plan. I started visiting the flower district in my city years prior befriending plenty of friendly helpful florist /wholesalers and connections but I am still reaching and aiming to reach the level some of my peers are in. It is attainable!
Good question, You definitely do want to make sure that for your website that the domain you want is available. Buying your Domain is one of your least expenses when getting started. I recommend getting your domain through Google Domains, that way you won't have to "Verify" your website. You can actually get all your social media for business set up prior to that. Getting started with your Social Media first can actually help get the ball rolling for you.

In reality depending on where you are you can start anytime without any certification. In the USA all you need to work on is getting your business bank account set up, getting your federal tax ID set up, and registering your business trade name / DBA with the state you reside, and any licenses with your local city or county. Outside the USA it will obviously be different depending on what country you are in.
