Thanks so much for the great video. Would love to hear more about the landlord situation and how you were able to convince them to let you have your daycare in that specific apartment and also when did you disclose your plans for the apartment. Thank you so much.
Great channel. I do not have a early childhood education degree. Can I request you make a video on tips in creating a great curriculum for infants, toddlers and/or preschoolers for in-home daycares? I left my career in tech to become a stay at home mom. In the process I learned I enjoyyyy nurturing and creating activities for my kids and I’m looking to start an in-home daycare. I will start by caring for 2 kids in upstate NY while I go through licensing process. I think my biggest challenge has been feeling confidant in creating a excellent curriculum for my daycare kids and making sure this curriculum indeed helps with their development. Any tips to make sure I cover all the bases? thank you!
I too am interested in starting an in home business but I can say by the time kids enter Kindergarten most schools want them to be able to read site words like cat dog red sun... i would get with Kindergarten teachers b/c they should be able to tell you what they want incoming kids to be able to do...that should put u on track
I don’t know of any source for figuring out the demand of program hours specifically. The best way to figure that out as far as I know is to research the day cares within the areas you’re interested in. You can create lists and either go on their website or call around to ask about their hours.
Thank you for watching, Jazzy! I do have two videos on my channel about UPK and Pre-K for all. If you go to my videos list and hit the search icon, type in those words and they should pop up!
@@DaniChristine Hi Dani! Thank you for your reply :) Could you please make a video about the estimated monthly expenses, gains and losses for starting a child care center? Perhaps a spreadsheet that you can show us? Thanks again
Hi ! I want to open a home daycare the apartment i am living in is is first floor there is a main door and a back door takes to bachyard do you think my place will be aproved?
Likely yes, but it depends on the zoning of your property, laws and regulations where you live. You should could your local day care licensing agency to describe the type of home you live in and they should be able to guide you.
It depends on the position you’re working in and where you are located. To own a child care business in the U.S., no you don’t need to go to school just to be the owner. But if you want to be the director or a teacher inside the program, you may need to complete some coursework, get a credential or a degree.
Most likely, yes. But it will depend on the regulations in your local area. Google “in-home child care regulations in [your area]” and scroll to the section about qualifications. If you need help, you can book a consultation with me.
