Amber, this is me right now. I am listening to everything you are saying and I am in the exact same boat I've been teaching for 15 years. I have 2 masters degrees. I have a two-year-old son that needs me. Possibly some issues with health. And I need to be home for my son. And teaching is not paying the bills i'm doing so many things to supplement my income, which is keeping me farther away from my family. The last 2 months I started researching notary and I just came across your page this morning. I feel like this is definitely a sign. A godsend and I'm in the parking lot of my school right now crying because it just hit home and resonated. Basically confirmed that this is what I need to do, thank you so much. I will be looking into your choices and seeing what you have to offer that can get me in a better position. And hopefully get out of the classroom ASAP so I can be there for my family.
Nothing hurts more than knowing the amount of time you won't get back. The time with your children while they're young is so important. I'm rooting for you and am her to help and support you
Thank you, I have been a Notary for 8 years, tried to start a business, but just never got it off the ground yet. I did get a DBA and am now studying for my signing agent license. Thank you, will be following uii
@@droolalot5795there is Signing Agent Training and also you need background check. Some states you need a Tipic license for signings outside of general notary
I'm working 9-5 with children and expecting. I was planning to take 4 months off for maternity leave and begin to study and setup everything that is needed. What I am wondering is maybe I can work online notary for a couple of months while out on maternity leave studying and gaining some experience in this field, while working on opening a business as well as marketing. I have always had problems with marketing with my last business which was candle and soap, but I have learned a lot from it so now I am more prepared on how to market and setup my website etc. I have a strategic plan so hopefully things run smoothly and definitely will part ways with my 9-5 job because I want nothing more than to have control over my life, spend more time with my family and manage my business. Thanks for the information and encouragement, this is exactly what I needed to hear.
Thank you so much for this information! I’m already an entrepreneur as a mortgage loan officer, but looking to make some side money in this tough market. This gives me excitement because I already got rid of the 9 to 5.
Awesome, Awesome, inspiring, and transparent story. Two words, Phenomenal Woman. Blessings upon blessings for you and the little ones. I truly enjoy all your videos. I remember having those same feelings and thoughts. The sacrifice had to be made to get to the reward and it was well worth it! Thank you
Thank you for sharing your story of moving from education to notary. It's encouraging to see that there are other options for long time educators that are not necessarily centered around traditional teaching/counseling. Also I can see how educators can leverage their experience in many ways in notary. This was super encouraging for me to listen to as I consider shifting gears or adding a different stream of income.
Thank you for this video. I am in that exactly situation. I just started my notary business and work a 9 to 5 and 4 kids at home ..5 if you include my husband😂. You gave me some great tips!!! Thank you for sharing
Thank you for sharing. I’ve been following you on tiktok as well. Getting ready to sign up on NNA to prep for exam, was feeling a little discouraged because of people in the industry saying how slow it is. However, after following you I’ve decided to take the leap of faith. How long have you been doing this? I aspire to be as successful as you in this industry.
Great video. I’m in the starting phases with a story similar to yours. My two kids need me. I have my tasks written down & im going through them bit by bit. I really enjoy your videos. Will more than likely seek your mentorship. Keep doing what you do!
Hello and thanks for this very helpful video. I am totally brad new to the Notary business (I just passed my test and sent my application in to my Secretary of State). Once I’m sworn in I have NO IDEA of what to do next! I need a mentor. What should I do????
Thank you for this video I love your channel very informative this is my sign. I’m currently a overnight pct at a hospital looking for a side hustle. Also looking to take my state test for real estate this year. 🤞🏾
This is so reassuring to hear! I’ve been a teacher for 7 years and am wanting to have a family/have a career that’s more flexible. Thank you for ALL your help to make this a reality.
Thank your for this video! I just applied to become a Notary public & I am waiting for my papers to arrive so I can swear in. (NJ state). I too am a mom if 2 little ones & I am interested in becoming a notary signing agent.. how can I get more information in preparation to start doing this work? I need guidance. Any suggestions are appreciated 😊
Hi, I've created many easy to follow resources for people just like you, that want to learn more about the Notary Business. You can find my resources here: linktr.ee/Amberlatrice
Very helpful video! & I love how you have those products available (templates) but encourage us to learn on our own as well. ❤️ You're not exploitive, very happy for your accomplishments! I'll be using your videos as my guide ❤️
Thank you so much for your encouragement and insight. I am a new notary in Arizona and just kicking off my business. I’m excited after seeing your video- possibilities!
Thank you. Your breakdown of what to do is real and reasonable. Very informative. I am going to learn m😅re from you about this and use you as motivation.
Oh mama! If i went to bed at 2 i'd have to stay up. There's no way i'd be able to wake up on time. I also have sleep issues though. Thanks for the info!
Great video. Trying to figure out how to setup stuff while working is definitely difficult. I have a full time job but it’s not a traditional 9-5 and it’s very tiring. I also didn’t always work at home. So the balance is hard but I’m determined to do it! I needed to hear this today.
Thank you for sharing. Lots of golden nuggets. I am building my biz and working 9-5. Fortunately I don’t have little ones so I do have time after work. Regardless its a lot of work. I will definitely be checking out your email templates and other services.
@@grittogrowth Do you think it's a good idea to get an LLC before getting started as a loan signing agent or should I get all the credentials first then open up an LLC?
Thank you Amber, for sharing your story. How do you get the agencies and title companies to give you a chance as a newbie? How to find a mentor to shadow and be confident?
I am glad you put this video, It gave me structure to my day. My schedule is 6-230pm but I do 2 hours of OT, I get off at 430pm. But do I do have the flexibility to work 5-330 pm! I think like you , this has to work! Thank you for this!
Well aren’t you a hustle QUEEN!! Thank you for all the videos you post! I have completed the notary course and plan on working as a RON and eventually a LSA. I’m a real estate agent but I’m not making a living doing it yet. I really hope I can make this a full time career. How long would you say it would take to do that for what I am going for?
Lol, I do feel like that name is fitting! Thank you for the feedback. I'm so glad that it's given you the push you need to move forward. You will want to give your business a full year (going all in) before making decisions to leave your main source of income
Thank you Amber! Very inspiring. I do have a question. I live in an attorney state. How would I be able to be successful? Would I be able to do signings in other states?
Thank you. Retired. The goal is to earn at least 50K extra in retirement. Offer multiple services under my LLC--adding full service notary--in person, mobile, and on line. Trying to get it together. Like that title company perspective. Would love to know what kind of camera equipment you use. Thank again for great presentations.
Thank you this was great information I'm looking to become a notary loan signing agent to not only supplement my income but also eventually do this full-time I appreciate your tips
Thank you so much for sharing and the encouragement.. honestly I’m feeling stuck b/c I’d love to start w GNW but here in the state of NC travel fees are prohibited. I’ve tried signing up w N3 Notary and they don’t respond.. are there any other companies such as N3 I can sign up with to get me out there are started? TIA!!
Thanks I'm new to your Chanell I also watch other and have another mentor but I after watching your videos I love how you teach so I will also love to have you for a mentor and Thanks
I started my notary business because of you and I just want to know how to keep funding my business with it being new when I am living paycheck to paycheck?
Hey Amber I have a couple of questions of how to start notarizing online, I know you have a variety of videos but I would like to have a few minutes of your time to discuss how I could start to grow my notary certification. Thank you in advance for your help and hope all is well!
I’m starting my new notary business in the state of florida dade county. What do I need to get started I got my LLC thru go daddy But now I’m stuck and I’m inquiring if I need a business license or EIN? Please advise
You may need a business tax license since it's Florida. Check with your county business tax office. Also, EIN will be needed if you want to establish business credit and open a business bank account. It's also free. Just Google EIN and make sure it's the governments website
Thank you! I just received my commission and I am waiting on my title producer license then I’ll be eligible to become alone signing agent and then I can move forward with my website and more. I am in Indiana so I don’t know if I need a loan signing agent as a mentor for my own state. What do you think?
Did you do online/mobile notary services only? I don’t want to have to print out docs and go to strange peoples houses like loan signing agents. thoughts?!
Amber, how do you find out competitors prices if they do not disclose on their website? When I researched every notary in my area says call for a quote.
When considering becoming a notary, is it better to apply traditionally or online? Can you apply for both options? I prefer the flexibility of online but don’t want to rule out any services.
Hi Amber, you video was really informative. I have a question, how do you get paid from the title company ? You invoice them and then a ACH to your business account?
Thank you. That is a great question. Even though we have an agreed amount I'm paid per closing I still invoice (for record keeping). A check is mailed to my business address and then I do a mobile deposit into my bank. I hope this helps
I just got approved for online notary. I got my certificate as a pdf, but all online platforms ask for it as a pfx or pk12 is there a way I can change it?
Easy my lunch and conference period we’re back to back so I could leave do a signing in 30-45 minutes and be back to my office. I was a counselor and had no kids to teach all day. I had an office where I could come and go as I please
Hi, my training is beneficial to anyone in any state. I teach how to open, run and sustain a profitable notary business. You'll need to abide by the laws your state has
@@grittogrowth Yes I think I live in Fort Worth,Texas I thought about RON I’m currently in your class I don’t know if that’s something I have to pay for again if so I’m doomed lol 😆 I’m currently trying to figure it out.
Ms. Amber, do you think this a great opportunity for a full-time nursing student? I'm looking for a source of passive income. I would love to chat with you!!
Hi, I love notary because you can do it super part time or go full on Full-time. I would start with getting commissioned and focus on general documents. Being in nursing school is a full time job so notary would definitely have to be on the side
Go for it! You can take your State exam if required and pay the fees. Also, create an LLC which you can do by yourself without paying anyone to do it for you.
