Thank you for this video! I have been hesitant about starting my podcast but you guys have given me awesome tips for my RU-vid Channel that I have grown from 12 subscribers to over 150 in less than 30 days! My dream is to have both my YT channel and podcast up and running! Thank you again so much!
Me and two of my friends are wanting to start and we seem to be very serious about it. I’m watching this video and going to order a book just to be even more educated on podcasting. Wish us luck. And I wish all of you look and I hope that each and everyone of you have great success broadcasting
Love podcasting because of saving a lot of time with learning when I'm exercising, training, driving, walking with my dogs. All brands should consider such a format in their content marketing strategies.
Thanks so much for the tips. I just tuned 50 and I’ve always wanted to have a career in radio but it never worked out so now that I’m entering the 2nd half of my life I’m gonna just go for it. ☺️ hopefully I won’t over think this too much
Just some feedback on this video. Excellent overall, but when mentioning Buzzsprout (which I never heard of because I’m a newbie) there was nothing on the screen to show the URL or even a shot of the Buzzsprout home page to identify the site. Watching on my firetv, I couldn’t make out what the host was saying 100% so I wound up coming to the app to see what the website was. Just a little thing, and just a suggestion. This video was awesome!
Started a podcast this month and it will be 1 month old on the 11th of June. I have 3 episodes already and working on my 4th. Thank you for the tips it will help me do better.
Podcasting is such a good idea in 2021! 💥 Not for me, though. I have to concentrate on growing my YT channel first 😉 Although people said I have a soothing voice hahaha
Not necessarily but what you'll find is that one can help out the other. Its about finding a balance to communicate whatever it is you're wanting to get out there on different platforms and knowing your audience well enough to know what fits on what platform.
@@NetabideCreations There are multiple ways to monetize a podcast, there is affiliate marketing, brand deals, host read ads. The most important factor in how effective you will be at it will be directly tied to how many listeners you have downloading your podcast consistently.
I def get all the info I can from different podcasters , I started my podcast a few months ago and figured out my own recipe of making it easier for myself because, it is a lot of work lol
Love this! and yes, starting your own podcast is HUGE. But I ALSO think that doing interviews on OTHER people's podcasts can get you even bigger results! Think about it...big exposure, brand building, credibility by being interviewed by another thought leader/influencer. It's the fastest path to building your authority. It's why my team built out a whole program teaching entrepreneurs how to land those interviews.
Heather, thank you SO much. I must have been through at least 20 something videos before coming across yours. You made podcasting as easy as I needed it to be, for me. Audacity and Buzzsprout. THANK YOU!!!
Thanks for the tips! I can’t wait to launch my podcast on personal development and healthy relationships. In the meantime, I’m focused on growing my RU-vid channel. 😊
think media could you pls give a camera to me. i am Dithira 13 years old and i am recording on my galaxy a3. any camera is fine if it can recode video. thank you
So if I'm using Audacity, of course it captures and allows me to edit my audio, but where does my video come into play? If I'm using a laptop with my microphone plugged in, do I also plug my Sony camera into the computer as well? Secondly, after editing my audio, how do I match it with the video?
Great question! Here's my suggestion for you. Record your audio in audacity and record your video normally. Then bring the audio and video into your video editing software. There are a few ways to sync it up. Most editing softwares nowadays have a way to automatically do it, but if not, you can easily drag and drop the mic recording to match the video by comparing sound waves of both the camera and the mic recording.
I'm an artist and I'm looking to start recording and sharing videos of me creating my art, etc... I'm not tech savvy and trying to figure out the best equipment, set up, etc... seems really daunting to me. I just found your videos today and I'm hoping this will finally give me the confidence to make this leap. Thank you for the videos!
For a new podcast show/series, what sorta time length would you all recommend? I am thinking of creating a podcast to coincide with my YT channel. As you can see from my username, I narrate spooky/creepy creepypasta stories. Many of these stories vary in length, so they can last anything from approximately 10 minutes to in excess of an hour. If I can find out an ideal time length, then I know what to work with
Sorry but how come I can’t find a how to video that doesn’t assume we know anything at all?… This one assumes we know way too much can you start us from the very beginning? For instance why would we want to edit I thought these were supposed to be live? How do we get listeners do we just put it out there and hope people listen? How do we interview someone else?So many questions this video and many other videos just don’t answer
I use a microphone like that with a Gopro with a microphone adapter. And with a cellphone with a dongle adapter. Both work great, but I didn't know a6000 didn't have a microphone adapter?
@@TheFinancialMinute its actually not that hard. If you use filmora pro. You just download the files and there is a one click option to sink the files. It does it for you. You can get a zoom used for $100 or so.
THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING YOU AND YOUR SUPPORT SYSTEM DO ON RU-vid. YOU'RE ONE OF MY 100'S OF INSPIRATIONS THAT HELPED ME TO FINALLY CREATE A RU-vid CHANNEL.
Thanks for the information! I've been wanting to do a podcast and make it like story night on the radio when I was growing up. This is going to be fun!
iPhone headphone mics are actually amazing at background noise cancellation. I used them for motorcycle bike to bike communications and they were crystal clear
how do you do an intro for the podcast? I have never done one I listen to them and most have an into. Thank you for this - it was short, precise and clear.
Do u have a video about installing Audacity 3.1, that just came out in Dec. 2021. I cannot find a video on the latest version for windows 10 & it's giving me a hard time to download. Something about "S" mode & it's taking me to the app store to buy similar apps. Frustrated. Pls help.
I cannot find that link for 'recording two people at the same time' I wonder if you see this after so long can you point me in that direction. It would be really useful
Me and my wife will be debuting our podcast, The Healthy Debate w/ Alina & Rashid in middle of May…we are excited and are talking about topics that will help people navigate this crazy life and also touching on the uncomfortable topics…feel free to tune in…the channel is already up and we go live May 15th
"Hi everyone, please could you help me? I am planning on creating an online course on (how to Create an online course for beginners . and I'm just in my research phase. I was wondering, if you were to take a course in this field/topic, what questions would you hope it would answer for you? Thank you so much for helping me!"
What basic equipment would you recommend for zoom calls? Basically, we have 2 people on one PC (me and an elderly family member, who is hard to hear) with another person on the other end, like a doctor. Would 2 Blackwire C5220 headsets for us do the trick? How do we connect and manage on our 1 PC to talk to another person on zoom? Or do we need a base Yeti? Of course, for a family member to hear better a headset would work, but I would not be able to hear the person on the other end of the zoom.
hi i have a question I don't know what it's called. I get a new idea for a youtube video, example 1 action button on iphone 15 pro is there a story board or a schedule for making videos 1 which know 2 what should be used 3 and 4 5 youtube 6 tiktok
Happy to get help with this. Though I wish you guys could diversify the smartphone option some of us are proud android users, so some options on android, please. 😊😊Thanks for the tutorial much 😍
@Sakey's Food Stories You should diversify it yourself, asking alot from others without putting your own time and effort in. If you can't figure it out then do research and go to podcasting reddits or forums and ask there.
have the gear. I found me a co-host. I have a small audio engineering background. My biggest thing is figuring out the base of the podcast. Like name or theme if you will… does anyone have tips for me to gear up for the business side?
I have a question, what are you saying? When you suggested using the app to route where the pod cast will go. Are you saying buzz route of buss fraught, I know sounds weird but that's what it sounds like you said. I need the spelling so I can go and get it, thanks.
thanks for this video, since in my family we have two of theese cameras i want to ask you if the canon eos 2000d is enough to start a videopodcast with 4 people talking around a table? i' ve heard this camera is not good for videos but i actually know very little about photo and video. Thank you very much 😀
The way you touch your fingers and your arm is stuck to your body, It makes you seem nervous I would recommend for you to move your arm freely and get it away from your body that would make you seem more confident and trustworthy, But the way you talk and share your information Is super super great!! wish you all luck❤❤❤
thanx for this one as well, here's a question: what about copyrights for using music as your content? you can have brilliant ideas but then you get too complicated challenges that might turn you off from the whole idea to start your podcast.
I am watching this because I am starting a podcast on the topic of leadership sharing my experience working in the criminal justice system. I hope to connect with you guys and bring an update in few months. Good luck everyone trying to build something.
Why does think media only have young people presenting? There are millions of us 50 plus people who love technology and Podcasting and video. I would love to see a presenter who is middle-aged. using and talking about gear, Podcasting youtube, etc.
Maam Can you please tell me how many topics I can talk about in a podcast account? When I created the account, you can talk about only one category in the category. Reply me thanks alot
so if im using the usb connected mic and ferrite app to record my audio i would need a separate usb mic and phone to record video and audio together? I cant do it all together?
I started one with my friend and we were soo excited BUT as with anything, you should focus on who you want to reach first. I already have an IG and just started YT-but my audience is hobby and beginner photographers who want to crush it on IG (very visual opposed to audio). Since I’m still trying to grow my YT, I had to pause on the podcast. If you’re interested in starting one-ask yourself, what *medium* is necessary to communicate my ideas best?
Rode podmic is great pro/entry level mic or the new rode wirless go ii is great if you do normal youtube videos and stuff as well :) (they are worth the investment more than a camera)
It’s because they’re manager gets them to do it and sign a bunch of brand deals for the podcast and make easy money even though they probably didn’t even want to start a podcast
