What did you think of my takes on Networks and what would you like to see me build in the future? Let me know below ⬇ Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to check out this video I really appreciate it and I will catch you all in the next one! Happy Building EH
Since there's mixed zoning now, I think doing Vancouver's UBC's area would be a great idea! A university with a residential area that has a buzzing commercial/residential zone, and some calm medium density next to a large park, and of course the whole university. :D
I LOVE THIS IDEA! I think it would scale perfectly as well in this game. Likewise I just watched the latest city nerd video breaking down University towns and I am kind of obsessed with them soooooo expect a UBC build in the future haha
Thank you! Yeah it was something that I really loved from other content creators that I felt I could be utilizing better in my own videos and I am really happy with the results
I'm glad that the road network is way better than cites skylines 1 vanilla game, but I'm not gonna lie, there's a lot of options that we deserved to have in a 2023 city builder game, cites skylines 2 could be way huge than it's been right now, I'm having mixed feelings, this is going to take a while to heal, but I don't feel like dropping the game, I was one of the dreamers that thought they was adding a more complex road network with lots of options, I was dreaming that they was adding modular mechanic, I had a idea that could be so crazily awesome if you could make your own road, but in game, on real time, not on mod editor or the editor of the game, I think the game should have lots of customizations for roads, with references of real road locations, and you can happily choose whatever you want, like you can build your own road, save them, mark as favorite and you can use it by yourself, it's like players could make their own "mods" in the game without knowing anything about programing to make mods, then, there's the problem I have with CS2, the white marks on the road, this annoys me so much, I could definitely say this roads look more cartoony because of that choice of texture, I thought Cites Skylines 2 promises was to be more "realistic" I don't even know why the base game you can't even do a cul de sac, the game game us roundabouts but you can do like a cul de sac, also something bothers so A LOT, another city builder game comes with a unique and generic dirt road, idk if the devs go outside and see dirt roads, because I don't understand why it's so tiny and miserable, from where I live, when the roads didn't have pavement, the roads was large, already in the size for when they do the pavement so they don't have to destroy buildings in the way, also I don't even understand why the game doesn't have a smart mechanic where you can measure the roads by it's size, in real life the size of the roads are very important, because you need to make sure the road has space for all type of vehicle traffic, and future improvements...so I get upset the roads doesn't have any uniqueness, you can't choose the type of the road markings lanes paints, you don't even have any historical roads, which is another problem for cites skylines 2, an 2023 city builder game, no history? you can't choose a time period for a city and you can see the development of the city and the urbanization growth, I thought that cites skylines 2 could be like Anno 1800, or Transport Fever 2, where you can play in the classic cites time, could be awesome, the simulation of cims could get a whole depth of realism, I'm shocked, another city builder game isn't capable of make a game like that? Transport Fever 2 isn't a city builder game and did it already, I don't like how cites skylines 2 is just stuck in modern city style, and I don't like the idea that in few years we are getting a DLCs about classic looking buildings as themes so people can make old cites, on man the more I think about cites skylines 2 bad decisions my brain gets older and sick, I feel like I need to think less about this game, which is a shame, because 7 months ago I could never have imagined this results, my old me could be crying, and I will have to wait 8 years to see how far CS2 can get, because this is how happened for CS1, in the last 4 years that the game was getting lots of good stuff, especially mods that changed the game forever... I just don't want to see that happening again like waiting 7 years to finally get a feature that should be in the release game, I'm mixed with cites skylines 2, if I don't know what to expect I can just feel afraid of what is next, knowing that the launching of CS2 has been a disaster and break of hype and hopes makes me disappointed, because this should have never been happened, we didn't deserve that 😢 but these next 3 years are important for cites skylines 2, if the community can't have great suggestions, a strong feedback, these devs will do whatever they want.... can't they just keep releasing updates, and all the content for DLCs should be on the updates, just like Workers and Resources Soviet Republic, it's been a while but the game still gets really great updates that is helping to shape the game even more with all the awesome improvements...I wished Colossal Order could do that ... updates over milking DLCs 😢
Just found your channel and I really enjoy it… I used to watch so many Cities Skylines Ytbers but after watching City Planner Plays, he ruined them all for me hehe… But I actually enjoy your videos, and the educational aspects in them. Thank you
Absolutely agree with this! I didn't start to really enjoy Cities 2 in Early Access until I stopped comparing it to CS 1 modded. When I approached CS 2 as a brand new game that is when I started to really have fun and enjoy it for what it is.
@@moosehxcofficial You are the only youtuber who actually replies to comments that i follow. It's... may i say _inspiring?_ Anyways gotta go! Heckin' things I need to do 😅

@@catsgobrr896 No payment needed from both parties. I wasn't paid by Paradox or Colossal Order and likewise I didn't have to pay. haha no worries your English was better then mine most days haha
@@moosehxcofficial Cool! Have a heckin' good rest of your day, or night. I have no clue when you'll be reading this 😅 _(also pretty debatable about the english thing haha)_ Edit 1: *_the game is now out T -2 minutes_*
It's realistic for N-america. Completely car centric design where you can't get around unless you're in a car. Massive highway right through the "city center" with massive onramps separating the "downtown" commercial from the suburban residential sprawl. Even with almost nothing in it this town already feels like hell to walk in. Can't get more N-American than that...
