This series will focus on how to start a proper business but it will not focus on repairs.

Great video! I have a very good regular job and over the last 4 years have built up a decent repair iphone business.... Best tip was the spare phone "unlocked" to lend out 'just in case".. Thanks! luckily for me i don't rely on this income but the extra $1,000 profit every month is awesome as I do it out of my home and have no extra overhead and no employees:)

The new game is buying cracked screens with the OLEDS still working, take the old glass off, install the new glass on which only costs like £15, bigger profit margins! 😁

awesome video series idea just what I've been looking for. if you could let us know in the next series what the shop charge alone should be to be competitive that would be awesome. i know you said around 70ish but the screen assembly for my g5 cost 70 so i would want to know what to tack onto that to be competitive while still making profit.

i get alotof galaxy s5s with smashed screens, lcd dead but totall undamaged always wondered what cause was surely it must be and easy fix eg replacing ribbon cable ? same with samsung tab s2 smashed undamaged total never been dropped lcd/digitizer would be nice to know how or if these could be repaired?

Hey Dustin I identify with your mention of depression which I suffer from too, but if I can work and focus on working to make money for my family I'm all good. Can't wait for more of your series and because of your channel I have started my own business. Can you send me a link for your recommended iPhone 6s screwdriver? I purchased a 00 at home Depot but don't want to use it if it will strip the screws. Been there done that already and had to drill them out

Can you make a video on repairing a baseband causing the error (-1) on iTunes restore?

Or at least tell me the process you use. You may not have one that needs that done for some time. I was replacing a power/volume flex on an i5 and when I put it back together the baseband was donezo. I'm assuming it was just bad luck, I couldn't find any sources that said what causes it.

Tech MD RU-vid Alright, thanks for the response. I watched some videos and tried a few fixes to no avail and I don't feel comfortable doing board level repair so I'm just taking a loss on that one, though I bought it for parts since everything else was flawless on it. I'm looking forward to the rest of this series!

This is sad. The first video that you made about helping people to start their own cellphone repair business was really good and it helped me a lot. Now you look like this business is not working out for you. Where is your shop? Are you saying that people prefer mobile business? Because i dont think so. This video is just sad.

Alien Fix actually become a lot more successful doing mobile. I feel more free and I enjoy it better than having an actual shop. I have technicians that roam around throughout Utah and help me out. It works really good.
