I love pastel goth. But I love both styles on their own. I have tried to pick between different styles that I love for years but for awhile I have been dreaming about creating separate wardrobes for each, storing styles away while I wear the style I am most drawn to which would be in my closet. That would be the life lol I struggle with winter pastel kawaii styles because finding a good quality pair of winter boots that is white, mint, pink, lavender or buttercream yellow is hard to find but must exist somewhere!
@@siobhanphoenix9789 Haha, I agree! I have a similar problem with Uchuu Kei and Yami Kawaii but I’m beyond broke and all my clothes are boring hand-me-downs. My trouble when it comes to cute winter stuff, I’ve found decent boots but cute pants are hard for me to come by.
Hey everyone, I recommend Pinterest to look for outfit ideas, it's a great social media platform because it's not about collecting likes and and followers, it's about being creative and finding ideas! Also, don't be afraid to dress the way you want because of your body type or gender. Everyone can look good in a cute outfit if they wear it with confidence! Have a sugar sweet day ~ °+*°+
I love the part where you speak about being confident in what we wear, I totally agree! Confidence does make the style your wearing look good. I sometimes forget this and hearing those words really encouraged me ❤ thank you!
youre totally right with the stares. i wish i had these tips before dressing up kawaii. because i like soo many jfashions. and like u mentioned. i ended up with many pieces that doesnt go together. i've had the same situation many times and it makes my life difficult. too much clothing but cant match a lot of them xD time to sell again perhaps XD
@@Miwako_vklolita I love that since you wrote this comment you've really come into your own favourite style and transitioned really well into Mori kei! Xxx
Aww Thank you! ^^ Well its probably the RU-vid algorithm, or maybe the kawaii community its not very active on RU-vid idk lol xD We are not the only ones dont worry haha XD
I’ve also seen lots of Kawaii fashion on Pinterest. I really like the simple frilly girly elegant style, it looks so cute and girly with a touch of sophisticated. I haven’t gotten any though.
while watching HxH i geniunely fell in love with my favorite character's style, her name is Bisky. There is just something warm about kawaii style. I have always wanted to dress like those soft kawaii girls from anime, thank you for this video.
I personally think its fun to mix fashions you like to create your own style. In this case these 2 styles are a contrast to each other but they can still be mix together. Kawaii fashion focus most of the time on light pastel colors, or cute designs and and patterns. A suggestion I could give is incorporating aspect of kawaii fashion into streetwear, like for example create an oufit with a tshirt, baseball cap and element of streetwear but have them be in pastel color or add kawaii characters through maybe pins on your cap or a cute character on your tshirt. Thats how would go about it but there are a lot of ways you could mix the 2 fashion styles. Hope this helped ^^
Oof I need closet kawaii outfits lol I have like a mochi asthetic (basically a short girl, and SUPER pastel outfits/hair, and a super loli voice) ik it seems super made up but it’s my style and I like it!
my mother is really harsh about the way i dress, i’m 12 and she won’t let me explore my choices it’s how SHE wants me to dress. i was an e girl then an emo and she refused to let me wear them clothes when i was out with her to the point i cried and i couldn’t do anything about it and still can’t.
@@savannah7836 awh, well ignore him and just tell yourself, why would you wanna look like a normal person, when you can look like a freaking kawaii princess 😌💅🏻
My friend likes to dress in sweet Lolita and whenever she does people make fun of her. So I am going to wear Mori kei with her. Not sure if I’ll be able to pull it off being so buff but I am going to try :D
I love pleated skirts, oversized pastel jumpers and thigh high socks (Ik it’s plain but yh), so I saved up money and bought these really cute pieces, and now I’m judged by my family bc they’ve made my outfit sexual even though that’s not what I was going for-
i really love the kawaii fashion but i never buy clothes and stuff in that fashion style because im afraid of being judged so i always wear casual clothing even though i hate it :(
Its always scary to try something new. Specially something like fashion. But tbh people will judge no matter what we do, so might as well do what we want to do. Do what makes u happy
I've always wanted to dress in like a toned down pastel/shibu-kawaii with like a touch of anime, but its always so hard to find that clothing style and its usually super expensive.
~for people with judgmental family/community~ SAME HAPPENED TO ME BUT U SHOULNT CARE ABOUT WHAT THEY SAY WE DO WHAT WE WANT SO WE CAN FEEL THE DOKI DOKI (HAPPY) AND WE SHOULD ALL LISTEN TO OUR HEARTS!! IF THEY SAY ANYTHING JUST SAY "AT LEAST IK WHAT I LOVE AND I ACTUALLY LOVE MYSELF FOR BEING ME" ~Tip~ whenever they judge me i try to not listen and think of something happy so i dont get sad or anything 😃✨🧚♀️ good luck
@Ronji oh i’m sure you can! you should try asking your parents if they are fine with giving you allowance to buy clothes. i’m 14 and i bought clothes off of shein (they have loads of cheap clothes too with lots of variety of styles.) i always choose xs since my body is those of a 4th grader instead of an 8th grader, but size and etc really just varies from person to person. - with your parent’s permission, feel free to have kawaii clothes. age doesn’t matter:)
Could You Make a video about dressing Kawaii on a budget? Ahah, I’m 12 without a job and I get 7 dollars a week from chores. I have some Kawaii stuff in my closet I’ve bought off amazon and eBay but it took MONTHS to save up for and I find dressing kawaii to be a bit of an expensive style as well :)
@@hi_this_is_a Thanx for the suggestion, but I just have to say I dont recommend ali express at all. Ive had bad experiences with that website. Would not recommend to buy from there. ^^
Hi! I was writing here hoping you would reply! I’m a girl who wants to dress Kawaii but my parents think it’s unnecessary to buy more clothing. All my clothes are hand-me-downs from my older cousin. I’m kinda tired of dressing like her. And tips to look kawaii with clothes most people have? - Charlotte
Ok, but where do I find that exact outfit? Also how do you sound so cute? Honestly like tips to morph into you? 😂 I obvi won't be as cute (like 20% at best.)
I got the same point on the décolleté like you. Really at the same place too. If i would dress the same as you and color my hair we would look like siblings.
I always have trouble figuring out how to transfer my wardrobe. Everything I have has been handed down and therefore isn’t really “me”. I can’t decide how much to get rid of and struggle with finding cheap enough clothes as an almost-always-broke high school student. I’m visually impaired therefore my parents won’t let me get a job. Keep up the good work and thank you to anyone who reads this comment!
2:17 um actually its not yume kawaii, that a diferent term, its yami kawaii since it has menhera pink and that the main character of a manga based off this style 😅
I didnt say the that picture was representing yume kawaii, I said menhera as the picture with the menhera jacket was shown, but I see how it might be confusing. The list after the pictures included yume kawaii on the list so thats probably why you thought the menhera pic represented yume kawaii but if you notice, I also added other style to the list like mori which I didnt show on the picture references, and the list goes after the pictures, cuz the pictures where referencing what I was saying not the list. ^^
It is true, in the kawaii eye the pinkish or mild brown color if you are black, is simply so pretty, I think I really wanted to see a black girl have pastell hair :-
I’m 13 and I’m barely staring to dress Kawaii btw I’m typing this in the beginning of the vid but where can I buy cute cheap Kawaii clothes? Help a girl out plz 🥺💞!
rrrrrrr....REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE YOUR SO KAWAII OWO, I LOVE YOUR HAIR COLOR AND YOUR STYLE I NEED THEM, BUT TO BAD CAUSE THEY ARE BIG ON ME AND IM JUST A 10 YEARS OLD, okay seriously you look cutteeee.
So I wasn't sure what kawaii style I wanted so then I found the elegant one! So when I feel like it I dress elegant, so my style is a soft, cute, pastel, elegant look! ♡☆
Such lovely advice you've given in this video.. especially the part about making your own accessories... they don't have to be anything massive... just the little touches really help! Your look is very aesthetically pleasing with your background, overall this was a very calming and reassuring video!
There really are many! For examole decora kei, Lolita, fairy kei, harajuku goth, Gyaru etc. and all These Styles have different categories too: sweet Lolita, classic Lolita, wa Lolita, goth Lolita, sailor Lolita, Kiro Lolita and many more! I recommend doing a little bit Research, it is really interesting :3
pastel goth: i dont really like it but try that also, but if you dont want to then you do not need to: try look at people dress in that style, to see if you like it : taking your self to more online store's will help you find more kawaii thing's it will help make your own type of outfit's in kawaii: making accessories is something you can do but be careful with this cause hot glue can burn: clothes is one thing THAT IS really the style of kawaii but, if you want to make clothes that is gonna be hard i am making a shirt and purchase ing clothes myself but make sure you look at prices: sizes is what you need to look at to not looking at sizes is like buying something for a baby when you dont have a baby anyways, you need sizes and how big some thing is: and thats all i have to say iv'e been writing for hours!
how do i start to dress kawaii? anime has really changed my taste in everything really 😂 but ive always had a "90's" aesthetic but now i want the kawaii pastel aesthetic.....plus i have "strict" and kinda "judgmental" parents and im already so insecure so uh halp💕
We’re in the same boat when it comes to the parents thing. I’m struggling too so I can’t offer a lot of help but I will say that simple kawaii pieces are less likely to catch your parents’ attention. Hope this helps!
Where do you get pastel/cute type clothes is the question??I'm 13 and I like oversized but I feel like if i shop for it online it it's going to be too big T^T
Your skin tone is beautiful! Personally I think girls with darker skin tones look BEAUTIFUL in bright or pastel colours! The warm hue of your skin brings out all the magnificent colours you wear. The only thing I would say to avoid is light cold coloured lipstick, tbh I don’t think it really looks good on anyone unless they’re paper.
:D Que cool! quiero ver tus cosplays! Todo super bien! Gracias! Cuidate mucho!!
It’s so expensive, and I don’t want people to think I’m weird, and I’m not Asian and have a round face and stomach fat. My makeup also for some reason never works right, it always looks flaky and it looks like it’s peeling. 😢
