Sir, 1. Why do we perform channel sampling in case of Banded ores like BIF? Because if we see the BIF beds do have 100 kms of extension but why we are not performing grab sampling or chip sampling as well? 2. In both chip sampling and channel sampling we take a linear traverse, although the scale is smaller in chip sampling, then how do you fix, which type of sampling you are gonna take in a Greenfield exploration. Channel sampling is usually done for basemetals, precious metals where there is just indication on surface in the form of oxidation zone, alteration zone etc
