I have a small channel and working on to be monetized. In the begining I watched a lot of videos about strategy and tips, but a very small amount of them was helpfull to me. There are 10-20 minutes and the real value is probably 1-2 minute. So they are a waste of time. But EVERY single sentence this guy is saying actually make sense and I always wait for the new video. 👍Thank you for the tips.

What he said is true. I used to have a channel where I neglected all the principles he pointed out in the video, and I struggled to get views. When I started a new channel and implemented the principles, my channel grew at a rapid rate; the most rapid I've ever seen. With a new channel, I accumulated 100 subscribers in only 5 days, and thousands of views.

Great video! And thank you for pointing out that you were suggesting conflicting advice. So many RU-vidrs will make one video giving a set of advice to then make another one giving the complete opposite advice, which leads me to believe they have no clue as to what they are talking about. Maybe there is a flaw in my logic but a viewers’ gaze will be drawn to the person’s face in the thumbnail first then they will move on to read the text. Correct? If so, then putting the person on the right means the viewers eyes will be forced to move from right, looking at the person, to the left, onto the text, and then left to right in order to read the text. A lot of unnecessary movement. Where as, if the person in the thumbnail is on the left the viewer’s gaze will only have to move from the person on the left to the text. And once on the text their gaze will continue rightward as they read. Therefore moving in a more natural pattern. In my mind putting the person on the right only makes sense if our gaze goes to the text first. It’s the most important thing on the thumbnail. That’s true but it’s not where our gaze goes first. At least not if a person’s face is on the thumbnail as well.

@@ABKOVIBES I would say either would be fine as long as the key element isn’t text but is an image of what your reacting to in the video because the viewers gaze will go to the face first, then immediately want to know what is causing that reaction. And if the element is an image their eyes will only have to travel in one direction. If the element is text and on the left that makes their eyes have to go right, left, to right again It’s just my theory but if you look at Mr. Beast Reacts (a 2nd channel of his) almost all of his thumbnails have the face on the right and an image on the left but a few are the opposite of this. So going by this, for reaction channels the right side is best for placing a face, but the left isn’t terrible. However, on Mr. Beast main channel all thumbnails have the face on the left and sometimes in the middle, but never on the right. From other videos where he talks about RU-vid he says he and his team spend days studying and testing thumbnails for each video before upload then after upload they A/B test.

Meta has the wall. Instagram has "add to story". RU-vid needs to aomething similar away to share a video to subscribers. Ads to playlist doesn't promote the video to subscribers. Audience interaction is needed.

The subscriber tab is the same as the wall in insta. The only videos that promote there are from people you are subscribed to. Other than that the other tabs are mainly for you to discover new creators, popular content, or suggestions from RU-vid based on your watch history. The watch history is too sensitive for me so I had to completely turn it off on my main account because their suggestions were getting out of control. A huge time sucker. But on this channel I only look up things that help me learn about growing RU-vid channels. So it’s super helpful.

All of these "How to RU-vid" videos are about "one-off" videos, that is, even if it's a niche, usually they're stand-alone. None of these videos talk about if you already have a topic, and how to get the most of your already-existing video ideas. And never those ones that have a single project that might take a few weeks or longer.

Well I have good views, around 6,000+ on every video - but nobody subscribes. I mean, a very small percent of people from these insane (in my opnion) views are actually subbed. What can be the problem?
