i remember watching this video back when i was still saying to myself “ how could i ever do flips “. now i can side flip, front flip, back flip, cheat gainer, cork, front 180, and some basic vaults, all in 7 months. thanks ronnie for the videos
@@WusGudCook depends, out of the main three (side, front, back), backflip is physically easier but scarrier, front flip is usually less scary but is physically harder, and side flip is in between. I wouldn try all 3 and then continue to practice whichever is most comfortable/fun/easier and then learn the next and so on. But regardless of whichever flip you choose, try to learn the basic vaults and rolls and other stuff first. Those are good prerequisites and a good test to see if you are ready for flips
I unfortunately don't have a backyard to practice flips. All I have is a gym that I go to to take lessons. But thats only once a week. I also don't live near that gym. It might take me longer to learn flips more than other people. If anyones reading this I hope you do well with your flips :)
I have been wanting to do a flip since I saw one in a movie when I was five. This video really helped! This video made me promise myself I will learn to do a flip.
Ronnie, you're honestly the greatest. You definitely should have way more subscribers because you are what made me become a sponsored traceur for Logan Garments. You are so informative and free flowing and you're so good at what you do. And you're calmness makes it so easy to learn and you even show that a professional like you sometimes fails but commitment will lead to success if you keep trying. Thanks man 😁
Today was my first parkour training day. Going to use your falling first tip to overcome the fear.Already feel better about trying flips, thanks Ronnie!
A way I am learning to do a back flip is by doing bridges and then going to a handstand and then landing on my feet. The faster I do it the closer I get to a flip.
I can do flips but I lack something that I need to improve my flips ... This is the video that makes me full of my self and I found in this video what I was lacking for .. ... Thanks to this vid... MAKE MORE SOME AWESOME VIDEOS ! ^_^
Wow pretty effective this channel is cool but i fell a 2nd floor of our house last year and broke 2 ribs 1 leg but i can still do flips side flip anf back front flip and i can relate to this because this is how i learn
The fear of bailing, exactly my problem with flips on ground right now. I don’t really have a soft place to practice I have to go to a gym some time soon
I learned a trick from my mum at 5:52 just spin and go into a pushup-like position or put your leg as far as you can behind yourself it works and saved me from hurting my ankle.
I once was on a trampoline and tried to do a flip, I landed on my neck and while in the air my knee hit my chest I was injured for a while but I still clicked on this video
Is it better to train for a few years without learning any kind of flips and just mastering basic techniques? Like in the long run is that the best way to go about it?
Adam Benton it just depends what you want your focus to be. you can start learning flips when ever you are comfortable but you can also wait if you just prefer mastering parkour.
Flips won't necessarily do permanent damage unless you are doing it on concrete or off high things with high impact... And not landing on your head over and over ;)
That's my problem i've been doing a lot of high impact tricks on concrete and when ever i do it for a long amount of time, right under my knee starts to hurt a lot and i hate it :(
Thank you so much Ron!, Now i can do the Webster, Backflip,Frontflip and Thr Sideflip i almost Did the sidebomb at that attempt, Very good Video to teach Parkour beginners
