When you put your all into your music it gives you something to look forward to, you wanna see certain ideas come into fruition and want to leave a legacy thru your art. Excellent video. And I agree, there aren't enough women producers in the public eye, (although I understand why, and the reason is pretty terrible). An additional note for all those just getting started: there are a few free DAW's out there, and a ton of free plugins of every sort.

@@beatsbymelodyYou're welcome! First, stock plugins usually do the job. For instruments: Spitfire Labs, and Vital synthesizer are a great place to start. The Kilohearts Essential kit has every utility and effect plugin you could want; delay, reverb, compressor, limiter, gates, etc. TDR Nova is a fantastic dynamic EQ. Melda Productions has a lot of good free plugins, but they all have a learning curve. MPC Beats is free software that works stand-alone, and in a DAW. All that, and a gigabyte or 2 of free samples would be my recommended Music Producer Starter Pack. 😁

I’m a female who’s been getting into producing for a few months now ( I haven’t made videos about that though 😂) but I always love finding new ways to create. I use Logic Pro, but one day want to get FL because I love to make trap beats 😂 this was fire. Subbed up 🔥

@@beatsbymelody yeah that’s right, I got Logic because it seemed “easier” but to make my style it isn’t as easy, for example y’all have that little button on the top of the piano roll that makes easy slides, wich is good for drill 808 beats and the 808s you hear in pop smoke music but it’s hard to replicate in logic 😭 and the drum pattern, we have one too, but y’all’s one seems easier to use 😆😆 thank you I’ll look forward to watching more!

Ohhh okay yea I see what you mean. I dabbled in logic few years ago but I just focused on melodies in there never even attempted to get my 808s right lol and it was a few years before that drill type of 808 sound came out too. Yea some programs are just better and easier for certain things.

I just wanna say you have made a lot of female producers around the world proud with this video clip of your's. To me personally, i'm hands on type of learner, meaning practical. I would advise if you can set up any type of in house lessons wheer people can meet up for your services by paying a fair price. A lot of people will sign up for it including me. I started with FL STUDIO also, I now have a MPC Key 61 and a SP404 that changed the game for me, but I still use FL STUDIO till this day .

@beatsbymelody I knew I always wanted to try stand alone beat machines when I was using FL studio in the beginning, when I first got my Sp404 it gave me a sense of freedom that FL studio didn't give me and my MPC just provides everything that I need (mainly for sampling purposes), I use all 3 of them depending on what I'm trying to accomplish in the studio

Good question, lol I started simple on the Yamaha keyboards lol back in the day. But These days I just use the presonus ps49 and an old novation launchkey. I'm honestly not super familiar with all the new gear and gadgets out but for a stand alone mpc at a good price point compared to others, for beginners I would say the akai pro FORCE standalone

So shorty doesn't have: 1) External typing keyboard 2) A mouse (wire or wireless) 3) A MIDI keyboard controller (she put it away towards the beginning of the video) Conclusion: not to take seriously - charlatan grifter at the least.
