To be fair, the very best way to learn the rules was on these following episodes. Cardfight Vanguard G Episode 26, G:Girs Crisis episode 1, and G:Next episode 2. It has all the rules and show the basic flow of the game better.
Exactly! I purposefully turn off ads :) People don't have to sit through irrelevant unskippable ads they don't care about and I get to advertise things I have control over ^^
I literally am going to buy mat(s) from Royalty Playmats because I keep seeing them on these vids. Your adverstising was successful! I'm brainstorming ideas now!
I love the content! Would love to see a tips and tricks for Dark Irregulars Blade Wings, maybe regarding your old build or possibly how some of the new builds that have been getting top 3s run!
Eehh, idk about the "do not buy normal trial decks" suggestion. The trial revenger deck has a guaranteed Mordred, and if i dont feel like building a deck with G units, it shouldnt be too hard to build a legion deck out of it. I'm not super interested in creating a G deck out of it atm, I just want to focus on building a good legion revenger deck. It wouldn't be super viable obviously until its complete, but it'd make for a fun budget legion deck for the time being until i complete my deck. That, and the legend Suzugamori deck is expensive as all hell. I'd save more money in the short term just buying the revenger trial deck, modifying it and then slowly building on top of it over time. I'd definitely spend more money in the long term, but i'd at least get to play with shadow paladin now as opposed to waiting a million years to have the money i need. I did jump on the Aichi Sendou legend deck though. I'm getting that for my birthday since i'm still playing the old premium format.
Bro, your videos are for real so legit!!! I'm getting a friend into the game with blasters lol but I'm looking to branch out into other clans I wouldn't normally do, so could you consider doing a clan breakdown of what they mostly do?
I started back when Set 2 just came out in the US, but I was well aware of eventually getting Pale Moon. So I was annoyed the clan I wanted to start would be put on hold to release Set 6 and so on (but luckily this helped the game early on). So I settled on Spike Bros and Megacolony since at the time they were pretty inexpensive. Guess what I'm saying is it sucks when you find a game and the part you like isn't out yet and that itch just sits there on your back till then.
Do not watch vanguard G to learn the game. First 17 episodes is just drama and action. Doesn’t show trigger checks, power, damage checks, etc. Just a bunch of monsters senselessly attacking
I know the difference of the old and new but here's a question what is a generation stride? How do you use that. And I noticed that there are no limit break or break rides in Vanguard G. Which is more difficult to understand. So what will help me to understand this. Btw(I want to use a Royal Pladins deck plz recommend me which one is good I haven't bought one yet).
Can I just buy 1 trial deck then get the ace cards in some booster packs? Because I already have evil eye sovereign and my friends(who play vanguard)only bought 1 trial deck then built their decks by buying booster packs
Would you ever think about making a video about going to a local card shop for the first time i feel this could also help out new players that dont know what to expect.
I remember starting out with daiyusha on cardfight capital and I would use multiple cards to get daiyusha's critical, only to swing with a 14k vanguard.
Hey, I never played vanguard but have a Aichi Sendou trial deck, but I am a little but confused on these decks and for example there are different shadow paladin's deck. Are these different decks from the different series of cardfight? and does it matter which deck you want to pick for example I prefer the shadow paladin vengeance deck than the legend deck of Ren Suzugamori? sorry about all these questions! ( hope it makes sence )
Oh trust me when i started i thought the end of the battle text meant end of game so i rode one of those crappy grade 3s that counter blast one it gets 3 k i did it 5 times and had a 25k base keep in mind both me and my friend were new
My friends told me to buy a nubatama trial deck and then they regretted their decision of letting me buy that deck. Cause after buying the deck I got so much immense luck that i got 1 mukuro right out of the 1st booster and 2 Rinne's 2 zanki's mujiinlords and a maguntenbu all of this are from the following boosters though. But welp the ultima ZR dragon was a lost cause after the reset after getting some tenrei's and furai's. What a bad timing
first time i play , i thought the trigger card are like Energy card if it was Pokemon tcg so every time i have a trigger card on my hand (just say its stand trigger) i put it in the drop zone and i stand my rare guard
As a new player starting vanguard, this was very helpful. I bought the dragonic overlord legend deck, should I upgrade it or is it not going to be very good since it doesn’t have g-guardians and stuff in the legend deck? Should I get a different trial deck like the messiah one?
Overlords are getting some solid new cards and the legend deck has some cool staples already. I personally think upgrading this OR building messiahs either way is a solid choice :)
Are all card packs i buy on ebay legit? I dont wanna go to card shops because stuff is extremely overpriced and they sell outdated cards. I just want to buy all i need at once and get playing. Also, what do i need to fully be ready to play? Like mat, types of cards, boxes protective cases etc
Why not buy single cards on ebay instead of packs if you want exactly what you need anyway? :) I'd say: pick up some trial decks/legend deck, buy single cards, buy a playmat, sleeves and a deckbox :)
So just saying where do you buy your cards and to they do deliveries because I need the messiah and it’s clan booster and eBay is.... idk and the shop near to me is... idk And that zoo booster box
When a card has an effect tht says "in the beginning of the ride phase", does tht mean i have to ride on top the card with tht effect? Ex:dragheart luard
Of course not. But I personally would never play without one. Getting sleeves dirty/sticky on a random table... You have no idea what happened to that table. Might be a little dirty... etc etc.. No fun times :p
I wanted some prices :v I actually already knew all of this because I have played more TCG before. I was really successful in Yu-Gi-Oh do the rules are not hard to understand however I do not know what cards should I buy. By that I mean clan. I have seen every clan but the only one that I like is really *really* expensive ;-;
lol yeah there's like no shops in Illinois that carry Vanguard nor have more than like 4 players that I've found, and they're all over an hour away from me.
